thank you, wife told me water on passenger floorboard this AM.. thankfully i had Oedro fitted rubber floor matts in the car so the carpet didnt get wet.. blew air through drain hose and easily 1 gallon of water ran out... this is now on my spring and fall twice yearly maintenance list

Should the firewall be wet ? I recently had my entire ac system changed and I’ve been having a loud whistling noise coming from the vehicle since. I initially thought it was something else but when I’d get closer to the ac evaporator lines it’s clearly louder. The lines are dripping water and the firewall is completely wet around that area. Is that normal?

Yes it happens to me, u can do it with out taking the motor out too, I do it from the inside but I have to do it constantly because it’s not the hose that clogged it’s a small tank that holds the water and it’s clogged right where the hose is connected so I can stick a screw driver and drain it but I can take out whatever clogs so it forces me to drain it every week or two, I’m trying to find a video that help with that problem

I have the exact same swoosh sounds when turning and wet floor on passenger side. I have sticked screwdrivers and other stuff jnto the hose, but it is clean. The problem is right where the hose connects to the tank. I used compressed air and then everything comes out, but after 4-5 days it clogs up again. If anyone has an idea how to avoid this from happening please share 🙏

Where the drain tube plugs in, in the dash floor board area, the hose on the kia optima hooks onto a small box... that box is whats clogged, I stuck a thin wire in and a lot of water came out, but its now clogged again & water is leaking out of this small box back in my floor. How can i get this clean out?

@@justthatguybrente Actually yes I do find it ! It's located under the car almost in the middle, pretty much under where the AC controls are. The hose is rubber and you literally see it coming out . I had my system professionally cleaned because the Evaporator core was clogged really bad. Hope that helps
