How to understand Ancient Daoist Scriptures (2020)
In the Daoist Gate, the sound wave energy healing are ceremonial methods
that were transmitted for thousands of years, since the time of the Yellow Emperor until present times.
They are high-level healing and self-cultivation methods.
Using the wooden fish, percussion, cymbals, reed pipe, and many others
the sound-waves emitted by instruments and human voices,
scriptures and incantations, repentance and prayers,
are unified to generate a holistic healing for the human body, mind and spirit.
One or three high priests guide everybody
to manifest a pure collective consciousness field.
They use a sincere, humble and reverent heart
to connect with Heaven, Earth, Higher Dimensions and the Ten Thousand Beings.
This way a specific aspiration is reached : to expel disease and prolong life, eliminate disasters and avoid difficulties, console departed souls, pray for favourable wind and rain, for world peace, etc.

Thank you to all of the students at Five Immortals Temple. I found this very interesting, and encouraging for personal reasons. I am Australian and have lived in Wuhan for many years. My Chinese is okay, but I need my Chinese wife to call Master Li, because it is difficult for me to communicate by phone. I need body language to make up for my poor pronunciation. As a Taoist, I am just a baby taking his first steps. Now I start walking. I follow in the footsteps of the Great Dao and pray that Li Shifu will one day accept this undeserving man as a devout disciple. After a three-month blockade, Wuhan will release us on April 8, when I will go to Wudang Mountain to visit the temple and Master Li. sending my love to siblings all over the world - stay safe & well!

Since ancient times, music has been recognized for its therapeutic value. Greek physicians used flutes, lyres, and zitters to heal their patients. I’m going to Wudang in a couple of weeks and really hope there are people that I can talk to about Daoism as I have so many questions. I’ll be hiking solo(which I hope is okay) and staying in the scenic area.
