So happy to see the abreviations like "chui" a few years ago I asked my French teacher about this, because in English we have "I am" but we tend to say "I'm". My French teachers never taught me any abreviations like these!!

@bigmazou69585 жыл бұрын
good video. thanks. but the main reason why i struggle in understanding french is only reason number 2. the rapidity of speaking combined with changing the pronounciation. i have no problem to understand written french or when a french teacher speaks a clear french, but as soon as i listen to "normal" people or a movie, i only understand like 30% of it. i guess there is no tip that helps immediately. simply listen over and over again will help.
@MyFrenchStory5 жыл бұрын
Salut !! I agree with you. there is no tips that helps immediately. What really helped me to learn English was to be exposed to English constantly it helped me understand more. It took me time but I got there. Keep going !! I promise you will improve 😊🇫🇷

I took over five years of French in school and then two years in university...and I still cannot understand spoken French! At all! It's really upsetting. I think I am wired for slow auditory language processing (I also have hearing loss in one ear.), but it's frustrating. I can read 80-90 percent of written French, and people who have heard me try to speak it think that I should be able to converse because I evidently pronounce French well. But I can't register anything anyone says, whether in person or through any kind of video. Strangely, I can understand more spoken Spanish than I can understand spoken French, and I only took half a year of Spanish when I was 12 years old. I think I probably understand it because it's similar to French in some ways, and because living in the U.S., I've heard Spanish spoken all my life. Anyway, I enjoy your videos, and I do hope to polish my abilities a bit through them. You are a wonderful teacher and have a delightful manner.
@tymanung7682 жыл бұрын
There are books in Spanish to learn French, and books in Spanish to learn French. These, especially + cds or videos, French and English, French and Spanish, or all 3 + more in SAME videos, which may be on youtube. If not there are multilingual videos that can be read via all region (any and all formats from any country) VCR s, if videos by other countries are not in US format. Bonne chance!!!
