Nice choppers (4:12). I don't see any dental work. I wish mine were like that. One thing I kind of recognize on an x-ray is resorption. I had internal resorption in a tooth. If it's some dark blob in the middle of the tooth, it could be bad news. The tooth had to be extracted and I went through a long implant process. No matter how good you take care of your teeth, stuff like this can happen. :/

Hi! Your such an inspiration to the young generation. Thank you for sharing videos about the dentistry. I want to become a dentist assistant. However, I have fear of X-ray . I researched about what are the pros and cons about dental assistant. The first website came up on google and said “ One of the most common health hazards besides pathogens that you will be exposed to as a dental assistant is x-rays. X-Rays are harmful if you are exposed to them in large quantities. There is also a minimal chance that x-rays can cause congenital disabilities. X-rays are known to cause cancer if you are overexposed. X-Rays can damage the human reproductive cells and change DNA, making it more likely for a person to develop cancer in one of their organs.” Can you explain me more about x rays .

My dentist told me I had a small cavity in between my teeth, we need to watch. ( just like how you mention at 2:30) I came back a month later to fix an older filling that was ripping my floss. He then says oh let’s take care of that other cavity and without taking a new X-ray he goes at it. Afterwards he created this big filling that I know my tooth didn’t need. It basically goes from the back of my tooth to almost the front. I was so pissed. What can I do? How can I hold him accountable?

I'm looking at getting a root canal after a crown has already been placed on my last lower tooth/molar. Since the crown, I can't bite down and the tooth/crown remains sensitive to temp (hot/cold, and even room temp water hurts). It's been almost 4 months, but my dentist can't find any issues so is referring me to an Endodontist. I've heard root canals are a bad choice, but what other choice do I have? None, really.

If so , would N-Said's or even prednisone ( say 10 mg 's for 5 days with a taper of 5 mg's for the following 7 days ) clear up a -- maybe -- abscess from. forming into a full blown infection ?
