You can cheese the gold curse a bit. Get a friend, do a tall tale, and make your friend leave your crew when you have the last checkpoint. They will keep that checkpoint. So you can complete the tall tale and invite them back, then they activate their checkpoint and leave again before you complete to not lose the checkpoint. Then you'll only have to do the end of the tall tale instead of doing the whole thing again.

Ik I'm being super nit-picky here but the golden bones are not considered a separate curse from the Skeleton curse. They are a cosmetic just like the ashen bones.

@@zootique987 I fought against players and self doubt. I was a runner since the very beginning. So when season 8 dropped I went in inexperienced. I lost so much, began to think ill never get it until the game is on its death bed and the closest ill ever get to the curse is when im dead on the ferry. Then gold and glory happened and I went from 68 to 99 in a few hours. (I did it between a few days) and then when it ended I justn eeded a few wins and I FINALLY got it. After dodging spoilers and going at it for months I finally got it. The ritual was so worth dodging spoilers. It was my first curse too which only made it more special. I broke down when I shook hands with the pirate lord and finally became a ghost. I thought I would never get it.

I don't lose to day one players anymore and can actually defend myself against most. My naval combat improved thanks to season 8. Though my cannon aim still needs more refinement

ANNOUNCMENT, anyone interested in the shores of gold curse don’t worry about it, I’ve just completed all accommodations for all tall tales and it said I’ve unlocked the achievements and everything and it didn’t reward me, it’s definitely bugged. People are away of it but I’m not sure if RARE is.

the only ones that are locked behind a real grind are the pvp ones but that makes it worth it, and maybe the gold curse but overall its all fairly simple, you could 100% each tall tale within a night if you really wanted to im talking like 2-3 hours of playing and youre done, do it 9 times for each tale and ezpz you got gold curse the other two tall tales are short and sweet for their respective curses.

ALRIGHT SO: The hat is the hunters Hat, the eye patch is intrepid explorer, the jacket is the mysterious stranger jacket (which is unlocked by getting level 160 in guardians fortune) , the gloves are the hunters gloves, the pants are the ruffian sea dog and the boots are the executive admiral boots.

How long would you say it takes to get to level 100 from 1?

@@smokinsantos2624 well that depends on many factors. Factors such as, how often do you play a day? how often do you win? Do you drop streaks of go for high ones (keeping in mind that rep increases after 4 streak), Do you sell flags? It took me 2 months but that's because i didn't play the game a lot, realistically you could get it in a week to a month if you really put the effort and had a duo who you work well with to drag in wins. On gold and glory or community day where the xp is x2 you could get it in a day of a few days even a week. But there are many factors, Big one is how often you play and win
