Just got on and I noticed that Jefferson Trade Center's targetted loot for today (Wednesday 5th) is RIFLE. If you still need the Merciless then at time of writing you have just over 23 hours to farm JTC and you're guarenteed to get a rifle off the last boss. It's how I got mine a few days ago, 5 runs on "hard" with rifle as the targetted loot and Merciless dropped flagged as targetted loot. Good luck!

I did have the pestilence drop from a random wandering outcast Boss in the open world. This was about 3 months ago I don't do the DZ so I never got it there before this happened. It was right across from the fuel Depot south of the White House where random elites tend to spawn to the east.

You can definitely get the "Pestilence" LMG in the outside world other than the DZ, I was farming the stoner LAMG from an increased LMG drop chance mission, a tank elite enemy dropped it, this was the first exotic I ever got.

@@geo4920 I am a lonley wolf,I don't like to play with randoms,fuck the Raid and just give solo players the opportunity to get items locked behind stupid raids in solo version of this this raids. I run 345+ armor,34 all weapon damage,36 rifle damage (diamond) with 31 assault rifle damage (invisible hand 22+DMG) and 89% DMG to elite. Soloing challenging missions and bounties and destroying everything in sight. I saw what a bunch of nerds can do in the raid and I can tell you for sure that you have to spend more time revive them then actually concentrate on the kills.Items should must not being looked behind bullshit stuff in the game,I payed the same amount of money for the game like you or maybe even more,so yeah.

Ive been on Div 2 since the beta but the Raid never interested me simply because a single gun that isnt even that meta breaking wasn't that important to me. If I could equip more than 2 exotic weapons at a time then it would be amazing. But TBH its not that big of a deal.

The Merciless is predominately dropped at Jefferson Trade Center, but I’ve had it drop at the Grand Washington Hotel & Bank Headquarters for me. You want to damage the boss with a lot of damage (Grenade Launcher/Nemesis) to get the drop. Nothing’s automatic, but you stand a better chance doing it this way. Also, know that I already owned the weapon when they dropped for me at these locations.

I've gotten 2 pestilence LMG, 1 from searching for components leaving the Archive safe house by Edward J. Kelly Park and the Building across from it. Skills has done a video regarding farming loot and faction keys underground I could not remember what faction was the boss but he was a medic. The second one near the South Lawn Fountain leaving from the White House, again could not remember what faction the boss was but I do remember he had a turret. Playing on PS4 if it matters. I don't have a PvP BUILD and rarely go in the DZ. I can definitely tell you that my first Pestilence dropped in a Public Execution event while CP4 farming. It was my first time seeing that weird swirly yellow that comes from DZ contaminated gear drop immediately after the TU(hence my surprise!). With a hint of cringe and lots of faith in my RNG. I broke that down to upgrade my Chatterbox. Found my second and current one a day later after clearing a CP4.

Finding people to do a normal RAID is frustrating. It would be nice if it was like "Discovery" where you can just start a Normal Raid on your own and have random people join it. But having to invite people that aren't in a clan already is a pain in the a$$. I'm sure console companies are loving it forcing people to pay to play the game online, vs being free on the PC, but it's still annoying.

I bought the regular edition division 2 just after Christmas and it came with the hazmat suit and lullaby shotgun. LOL! I didn't pre order or get the ultimate edition. The chatterbox isn't all that hard to get, the nemesis is harder because you have to wait 1 week in between parts you find, one month. The chatterbox I had within 2 weeks of grinding. Still a longtime, but as you stated it deals with luck too. These are all great but now sack exotic drops in random world drops, especially in high loot drop areas, you still need to farm a little, but they drop. That's with exception to the Eagle Bearer which will only drop in the dark hours raid, exclusively.

I was farming merciless for days, and yesterday i got so frustrated after doing at least 40 runs in last week and i went to DZ to blow off some steam. Well, i am solo player and i dont have good gear, so pretty much anyone can kill me in DZ. Also DZ is now full of people because of new content. Well i decided to do some challenge point. Not gonna lie, but i finished the boss after fighting for like 10 min since i have shitty gear, i saw it dropped some exotic. I was so happy and also so scared of how can i take it out without someone killing me. It took me like 30 min to get it out of DZ with careful planning and i got my first exotic the pestilence. I was done for the day. Then today i tried farming merciless again, and after 2 runs i finally got it. Not gonna lie, but after doing more than 4 runs, it was actually pretty satisfying knowing i dont have to do fucking trade center again. The only bad thing is that its 499 item level. FML. So i will probably farm trade center again so i can upgrade it. Or i am going to get diamondback and deconstruct it for the upgrade on merciless. I feel like diamondback is useless. Now next goal is Eagle Bearer, although i have no idea how i am going to get it since i dont have clan or friends playing this game. Its not easy for us solo players. If anyone wants communicative player in their clan on Europe server, let me know. :D

The two guns people wont be able to get are nothing more then skins. Sure you get the level one versions of those guns but yeah when you get thier counter parts you can simply upgrade them to look like those guns.

Yes. Picked up 2 Pestilence in non-DZ locations last month. 1 was bounty and 1 random drop.

I give up on raid do to the fact i cant ever to get the final boss done when everyone leave everytime i thunk i have 2 or 4 completed but kind gave up on the gun cause there is no way am i siting for hours just this gun. R.n.g is not on my side for this game atlest

Sadly I went to the box at the MLK library several times and still no part for the chatterbox. I had over 30 Hyena keys and used more than 10, waiting for the 24 hour refresh, but that part was never there !. Honestly it’s too random !. That’s the whole issue with the current state of Division 2, the loot grind is exceedingly heavy on grind with little reward. Now you are not the only content creator to make videos on hunting exotics, but for everyone of you that says “ go here for this part” or “ go there for that part” I’m sorry but the part drops are random and so does not work for every player. Let’s hope TU 10 addresses those issues. Oh yes, of course you need to play on at least “ challenging “ to have any hope of a good loot drop. But I thank you for your good work on this video and I know it’s very time consuming grinding for exotics but at the end of the day they are just way too random to drop.

I can confirm I 100% got my pestilence NOT in the dark zone, it was my first exotic, and i hadn't even been into the dark zone back then. It dropped in Jefferson trade centre, i assumed that was kind of normal as i was in the basement with the DC62 toxin (yellow powder all over the floor) and when you kill with 5+ bullets target releases a yellow cloud. I cannot remeber if it was LMG targeted loot, nor if it was it was invaded, i think not. i remeber it being world tier 5, and i was generally farming for D&H at this point in the game, was super early on. ( i have only been playing since January sales). very fun gun.

On the “Liberty Run” you can do the missions on Normal and the pieces still drop. My friends and I created a second character to place our Liberty in that character’s backpack by first putting it in the Stash. Then rinse and repeat: Capitol Bldg, American History Museum, Viewpoint Museum & Space Administration Bldg. + D-50 = 2nd Liberty. You can farm this process and break them down to get Exotic components...FYI

You hit lvl 40 in NYC and your exotics will only be lvl 30 if you get them prior, and theyre truly garbage at lvl 30 compared to 40 now where Im at. Im hoping I can refarm them all at lvl 40 now, but I dont know if I have to deconstruct my 30s Exotics before I can find lvl 40 components for them again.

I got the Pestilence a bit after Episode 2 dropped. After finishing one of the new classified assignments in the West, I came out of the building, ran into some boss in freeroam and he dropped it.

I got the pestilence as a world drop 10 minutes ago from a world drop in West Poromac Park, first time ive seen it and it was not even targeted loot for the area, skill attachments were.
