Technician's "Faraday Field" makes you immune to Hunter disruptions while standing within 5m of your deployed skills, like a Hive for example. So, having Faraday Field guard you while Hunters spawn will protect you from the Hunter's spawn disruption effect, letting you just CC them to death the second they exist.

Once you've got the Technician specialization equipped, you have to play with them for a bit to earn some Technician points. Maybe 5 or 10? Then you can go back to the Specializations table and spend them to unlock the Faraday Field talent for the Technician, which is found in the bottom-right section.

In regards to the Neurotic Mask, if you don't hear the bell toll after you activate the switches then you didn't do it in between the right times. 1st location: 0530-700, 2nd location: 0700 - 1800, 3rd location: after 2100. Those are in hours in your game clock.

NOTE: for angel mask, if you fast travel to a dark zone check point, it puts you in a new server and it resets the count of eyes you have. I believe that’s why some of you are having problems activating certain ones.

If you are soloing these like I did. Don’t be scared of them. Get special ammo on both of your weapons and stand about 20 feet away from where they spawn. Start shooting them with that special ammo as soon as they spawn and it will prevent them from doing anything. They fold like wet 1 ply. Your welcome.

yep... it literally takes 2~3 hours just to set this up, and if you fail to kill them, you have to do it all over again. I wish they made it so that, once you solve the puzzle once, you just need to trigger the last step to try again, maybe after 24 hours. i'll be ok with that... but to 1. find the computer and switch it on, 2. find three xmas three, 3. turn on the generator, 4. hit 6 targets between 2100-0500, 5. wait entire hour, and hit rest 6 targets between 0700-1800, 6. then turn on the generator again, and immediately get killed, and back to square one.

But no, even if you are the fastest person in the world and know every Hunter like the back of your hand, it‘s theoretically and practically impossible to do all of them in one night. Basically: No, you don’t have to do them in one run and dying to them doesn’t matter as long as it’s still nighttime. Each Hunter and their steps count individually.

Nice video, thanks. Some players have noted that the hunter does not spawn after the last lion. It’s true that spawning is an issue in Division 2. Some of those idiosyncratic characters will just not spawn. At times there is too much of a random factor of events happening or loot dropping. It can take months or a whole year of gameplay. Of course each player has their open style. But the Division 2 can be vey frustrating sometimes. It definitely needs constant maintenance.

A few tips. Don’t call for backup after the fight starts or he will disappear. If you want help invite someone right before the battle. Also you need to do it all at once. Going to the DZ door (don’t use it as a shortcut), helping someone, summit or anything that switches the “instance” you are in resets everything.

The divided mask in NYC. Use the fast travels. If you get caught up like I did by a supply drop with Rogues you have to reset and wait for another day in the game to do it. The Christmas ones, I think they are numbers 4 and 5 on here. Do that as a group. I would recommend 3. There are two hunters and they don't necessarily stick together. You need to keep moving because they can use every skill in the game. If they separate then one just disappears. You still get one mask but then you have to reset, wait another day and try to kill the one with the mask you don't have. Plus they can heal in the time it takes me to reload so having more players just makes it simple.

My first time going for the angel mask a group of NPCs decided they wanted to start a fight with a group of Elites in the street right behind me as soon as the hunter spawns. When I say I almost chucked my mouse out the damn window I was so pissed. And even more triggered when I had to do the whole thing over including getting the lion eyes!

@@aintdatabic I learned the Hard Way that Fast Traveling to a DZ Checkpoint resets the map once you exit so I would get like 4 Lion Eyes and Fast Traveled to a Checkpoint to get closer to the other 2 eyes (Because my cps reset) and when I got to the Lion Statues and got to the 3rd statue I was so mad. The only reason I learned this was going for the Neurocratic (Screw spelling right) or Carbon mask don't remember and when I got the the Dark Hours Museum it didn't let me activate the terminal. So I went back to the Boxes to shoot and whaddya y'know they were reset. So I shot 'em again and didn't fast travel to the checkpoint and instead to a mission nearby and than it let me spawn the Hunter. TL;DR don't use DZ checkpoints as fast travels while doing Hunter Steps.

I still need to get the last 4 masks but I easily got all the others (this video is super helpful). A couple of tips: 1. Run the reviver and pulse. The hunters cant hack these and they are handy in clutch moments 2. Always maintain your distance, be behind a cover and just snipe them. Dont go all Rambo on them, it will fire back. 3. MOST IMPORTANT - If there's a random activity, control point or group of enemies beside the hunter spawn point, dont clear them. They will all attack the hunter and the hunter just focuses on them, giving you a complete advantage. I used this to easily get the Drip+Psycho and Weirdo+Drama alone first try. Good luck agents !!!

I just wandered around the map for a little while and then came back to the spot where the hunters were supposed to be and the mask was just sitting there. Sometimes they run off and fight a resource convoy and die so the mask just stays there.

I like to use the EMP Jammer to disable the hunters skills with a max crit build, coyote mask, and Bullet King. Not having to reload allows you to keep pressure on the hunters. Disabling their skills brings it down to a gun battle.

Just did today Drip and Psycho hunters, and I wiped (solo) after killing Drip. Went back to the washing machine 23 and it let me reset the whole chain, and I could respawn the hunters. Second time I managed to kill them both. I did this during day time, and solo. Did not have to reset map, or log out. Tyvm for the video !!!

IF YOU NEED to reset a hunter (like if you fail Drip & Psycho) just teleport INSIDE a DZ checkpoint then you can redo the prerequisite and in the oposit (like NBS said) if you shortcut via DZ by doing the prerequisites it will fail your hunt because it reset your session

Just a bit of advice if you’re a random solo player simply trying to acquire all the masks. Turn your global settings to normal in the map menu. Use a 100% hazard protection build. You can do this easily by using a ninja bike backpack, perfect spotter backpack with another piece of uzina getica, 1 piece of ceska, hollow man mask, a random piece like contractors gloves for the damage to armor and a couple changes of gear to haz pro. Use technician specialization for the linked laser pointer and have flatline on your weapon with damage to targets out of cover. Use a crusaders shield for when the hunter spawns and melt him. The other skill can be a distraction or heal method, up to you.

this was a great video and I appreciate the time & effort it took for you to complete all of these, but I have some constructive criticism; If the mission doesn’t require you to do it at night, please for the visually impaired (such as myself) or just to make it easier on everyone please record these when it’s day time as it is much easier to navigate the map especially if you’re a new player. great video tho!

Excellent video. Was able to get all 13 masks solo, in a day, in Normal difficulty. Went with DPS build. Using Scorpio and Banshee pulse to disorient hunters. also got 12 masks for ivory key in a day using your other video. Thanks

Great video, but in my case so far, every single time I trigger a hunter, some random patrol shows up during the fight. Fighting a hunter is one thing, but then having an elite supply convoy show up during the fight makes it impossible.

I finally finished the last one today. I spent the last few months finishing expertise then I spent a couple hours the last month or so first doing the base game hunters then finally I finished wony hunters. Now I just have the raids and the incursion and I have everything. Ah and level 100 ascent I always just farm then repeat and never finish it. The guides for all the hunters helped me a ton I did them all solo and most of the single hunters on heroic and the multiple hunters on normal. Talk about time consuming.

Thanks for the great video. It helped my friends and I get all the hunter masks. We only got 3 masks from the Lucky/Viel/Trip/Paranoid fight, but at least they dropped the bloody key so I could get my black dye. Thanks to TU10 updates, even on Heroic, the hunters are now like shooting any other red mob in the game LOL I am going to guess, though, that since we did the 4-mask fight we are SOL on the last mask since we can;t trigger the hunter fight again.

Yo Skillz i was trying some of these earlier and lost out on the wierdo and drama cuz i got killed by them and when I went to try again i couldnt cuz it was too late but i went to bed and i dreamt i was chasing hunters with the help of a hunter. And i met midas and it was a female and the hunter that was helping me talked her into giving me the mask since i already had it and i hugged her and was like your my favorite yo it was crazy cool tho then i woke up my adrenaline was pumpin full throttle like it b in the game when they appear and your fighting them bro it was insane. I just had to share this.

It's crazy how much easier these are now than back when this was first added. I'm sure it's the fact that now I'm running a maxed armor build with the Scorpio. Didn't have either of those before. The Scorpio is king.

@Mave Gamer Same, just did the puzzle, got to the hunter and it one shot me with an invisible stinger hive. Like sub second downed and dead, that was only on hard. Oh and the hunter can somehow heal through getting pummeled with a Pestilence. Is there any real point to getting these hunter masks other than vanity items?

Apparently the statues are on a timer, if you dont spin them fast as possible theyll all reset and you have to collect the eyes all over again

Doing this for the 3rd time, now on PC ! By far the most annoying one to do (for me) was the Neurotic Mask! There was nothing hard about that one, it was just the waiting time after pressing the final button and having to wait before shooting the yellow box. But that last one with the 4 hunters....they got smoked with the Striker Ouroboros combo and I picked up all 4 masks on the first try 😂

I killed the 4 at my first try playing alone, Im not an skilled player but with the help of the nearest control point in my posesion was easy. The soldiers took them down meanwhile i hide like a cat. 😹

Finally have all hunter masks!!! Those last 4 was a pain, especially the steps to spawn the 4 hunters. Glad my friend and a random helped me and got it on the first try. I did not want to redo all those steps again.

Ik im late but if ur tryna do this solo I wouldn’t recommend unless your a mega sweat bc you will just rage, I have the difficulty on normal using 4 piece striker with 3 blue cores using St Elmo’s and they still annihilate you. It’s doable solo just very annoying when you die because you have to restart the process and wait till a certain time to even be able to do it. My advice go for these with a group or duo or if you have min-maxed gear as a solo. I dont have maxed gear but have dps so it’s doable but just difficult alone. Beware they will spam abilities and heal while they disrupt you from using yours 24/7 gl.

I managed to waste Angel eyes hunter on heroic. Took me a while until I found my own recipe: conquer all controll points from Constitution Hall, they have caches nearby with flaming ammo or explosive; use imperial dinasty holster to burn the mofo when I aproach him, Scorpio shotgun loaded with flaming ammo and stinger hive. Stunlocked the bastard, couldn't move or heal with all the bleed, fire and other debufs from the Scorpio. Worth the effort to chase that special ammo cases, they stay in inventory when you fast travel. Just don't die or load another preset. I know I haven't discovered the fire or the wheel, but it might help. Good luck!

@@OgJohann if y’all have been fast traveling to the DZ checkpoint that’s why. It resets the server you’re in and deletes all progress of you collecting the lion eyes, learned this the hard way

I just spent nearly 10-11 hours with clanmates getting these 13 hunter masks. Luckily, we didn’t die. However, I believe these hunters are like the first 12 DC hunters. If you die, they will not spawn if you try again right after you respawn yourself. You can join someone else’s world and try again and they should spawn. For me, I would log out, log back in, and spawns worked again that way too. As far as having to so the whole thing again? I can’t say, but I recommend visual cues to see if you have a full restart or not. Example, if you die, are the 4 Christmas trees still lit? If yes, I would continue from there. If not, well...yea. Splitting up by time seems to work ok. We did Christmas trees one night. Then day came. Used the day to scout all the target locations to make a speedier run through. Night came, did 6 buildings. Did a few activities throughout the night until 7:00a and finished other 6 buildings. All worked fine. Only thing I know that can mess up your progress is FT to Dark Zone. This reset Lion Eyes back to their fridges for me.

Went for the Angel mask, i see the smoke and hunter appear, i get ready then 5 guys spawn right on me and before i could blink, i was dead... Don't stay near the last statue when you activate it, it's not safe :)
