12 month service requirement is only for phones activated before Nov 23, 2021. After this date, its only 60 days and no service requirement. This info came from 2023 "terms and conditions of service"

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're saying the phone has to be activated for the FIRST time? Meaning if you buy a used locked phone, it can't be unlocked ever?

Ive had my phone for more than a year but tracfone says it's eligible. I'm just wondering about my other phone, which has been reloaded a couple of times but with tracfone. And it's a tracfone phone.
