Hi, You did not mention the part of waiting for 7 days before unlocking and you did not also mention that you have to add your account under Developer options > Mi Unlock Status. These are crucial to having this done successfully.

Sound like your phone already has a mi account linked to it, if you didn't unlock the bootloader yourself, you have to get the person who unlock the bootloader to authorise the device.

all of the Google services don't work on Chinese rom. You can't use "hey Google" on the voice assistant. I have several Chinese phones, including the ZTE Nubia 40 pro that only has Chinese rom. Can't use all of the Google services in U.S., although most of them work.

As long as you did unlock the bootloader yourself all you need to do just put the phone back to fastboot mode and use the Mi unlock tool to unlock the bootloader again. Hi Sir, I am having a china rom mi 11 lite 5g and I am waiting for the 168hours unlock bootloader. I would like to flash to a global rom which I believe is available now on version 12.0.2. I have downloaded the rom which is a 5.7gb zip file. I extracted it and i got a 9.7gb extracted file with only the rom file without any other files. Could you please advise what went wrong ? You need to download the Miflash tool in order to flash the Global ROM, Alternatively you can download the xiaomi.eu ROM fastboot and extract it, then run the Falsh_all.bat file

No, You don't need to flash Global ROM first, once your bootloader has been unlocked you can follow the steps and flash the Xiaomi.eu ROM

HI, The eu.rom can not be installed using flashtool on my redmi note 7 pro, I can however go to the global rom. I haven't installed it yet for I don't know what the difference is, or what it might do to my phone. If I follow your steps from the video, I do not get the windows fastboot install options. The phone should restart itself once the flashing process has been completed. The initial boot takes some times
