To anyone struggling, you don’t need to go to harvs to unlock him. What I did is I looked in the art exhibit for my first painting and came out after clicking a on the painting. Blathers then had the thought bubble. Next, go to a Kapp’n island (costs 1000 miles!) and you will see Brewster Edit: also you need three stars and a deep sea creature 🎨 have a nice day 🌷

Remember Brewster is a pigeon and used to give the option of giving you regular milk in your coffee or pigeon milk aka he gives the option to pee in your coffee on the gamecube version. I'm a throwback animal crossing player. I dont blame you for being scared but as I gotten older (28yrs old now) I still love brewster and I forgive him lmaooo

Reserved seating is when you have friends (company) on your island. You can’t sit there you have to go to the stool if you are alone. If you’re not alone and is with a friend, you all can sit in the reserved seats area.

Cooking is available. You need to buy the cooking app from the residence service computer thingy and buy recipes from nooks cranny(and buy seeds from the Sloth) I don't know all the correct names in English sorry 😂😭

I can't believe my luck with the sheer cosmic coincidence of this: I HAPPENED to find this video around 4:45 AM - literally 15 minutes before the day officially counts as changed in-game naturally. I also literally just so happened to have exactly one real Artwork donated. I got the quest started literally immediately - didn't realize I had to talk to Blathers again after finding Brewster so still have to set clock forward but it was certainly nice to not have to do a whole lot of stuff lol

for those who are still struggling I would love to help! thing you need to do: 1. Donate 50+ fish, artworks, fossil, bugs, sea creatures (in total not of each) 2. Make sure you are on the account that you created your island with 3. Wait a day or two then go to the museum then you should see blathers with a thinking bubble above his head 4. Talk to him. Side note: You must have a 3 star rating on your island and kapp’n unlocked on Harvs island so that you can sail to a random island to find brewster :)

Ok, so I restarted my island about a month ago, and only had one part of the museum when the 2.0 update came out, and I spent a whole month trying to figure out how to get Brewster, but, you can just time skip back to November 3 2021, and if you have the art wing, then you can walk in the museum and boom! Talk to Blathers and there you go. I hope this helps some people.

Just go for the first time in his island, he will explain how to take pictures and his home. TimeTravel to the next day, or just wait for tomorrow. You'll have a letter from him to invit you to come back, he has something to show you :)

I updated but I’m not getting anything. Harvs island is still the same, I’m not getting any options for anything. I only have the new decor options, the new app, and the group stretching feature :(

Hey thanks it actually worked but he just wouldn't think of it when I time traveled a few days but when I traveled through a month he finally got the thought bubble

Blathers brought up the possibility of building a cafe to me yesterday. I didn't go see Kapp'n because I had just returned from a mystery island before talking to Blathers. Did I miss my chance?

Okay sooo if you’ve updated to 2.0.5 and you have everything you need (donated all items, 3 star island, kk slider, kappn, etc) but still cannot figure out why blathers won’t mention Brewster.. GET MORE PEOPLE ON YOUR ISLAND! invite random villagers from the other island using a nook miles ticket. I had everything I needed and it still wasn’t working. I used a nook miles ticket and got at least 8 villagers living on my island. (Talk to Tom nook about infrastructure and sell land to build homes). Once I got more villagers, I went to the museum and he talked to me about Brewster. Hope this helps.

Do you have to wait until the day after K.K plays for the first time? I’ve got a 3 star island, I’m the island rep, donated the 40+ fossils, bugs and fish, donated three pieces of art and a fair few deep sea creatures and I’ve not seen Blathers with the thinking bubble. K.K just came and played at my island for the first time today, will that impact it?
