Yes you need a different sim card... cannot do it without. That's the way it's done, I've seen other tutorials on the tube that use the same process.

this isnt to unlock the phone for use man its to unlock the phone for use on other networks like if you have an at&t phone but you want to use it on tmobile or vise versa and if you forgot your password just search on youtube how to hard reset your phone
