This is because they are the same spirit inhabiting both the above and below statues. This was revealed as when you talk to the temple of time ruins statue and the one under it they both same the same thing. find me under water.

There's the dusk claymore (2 handed weapon) as a reward for completing the quest from the researcher at the foot of the tower north of lost woods. It is the sword that the sages in TP uses to execute Gannon. It can also be bought from poe vendors

The Dusk Bow (Bow of Twilight) is on top of Hyrule castle, 30 dmg not wood or metal respawns with the blood moon. I believe it shoots farther but it doesn't get the zoom effect. Arguably one of the weakest legendary since Royal/Royal Guard/Lynel bows are all as good or better but it's neat.

@Merp Only the Bow of Light from BOTW has 100 durability, not the Dusk Bow. The Dusk Bow only has a durability of 40, which is good, but far from insane (e.g. Savage Lynel Bow has 45, Royal Bow has 60, etc.). The increased speed and reduced drop-off is still really nice though.

I actually found the Twilight Bow. I say Twilight Bow, which that was what it was supposed to be, but for some reason they renamed it to the Dusk Bow. This bow doesn't shoot arrows of light for some reason either, which is weird. I've never heard of the Dusk Bow before, but it looks a lot like the Twilight Bow.

You do not need to kill the octorocks for them to be reset by the blood moon. It does help keep track of which ones you've already used though, there are also about 10~ known locations all around Death Mountain. As for great weapons the Champion weapons after completing each temple and trading a base weapon with diamonds and flint or wood are all pretty amazing.

You can fuse star peices to magic rods/etc for light element. It doesnt do damage, but it sends out mores of light that fly far and emit bright light. Like a mobile bright bloom.

For anyone looking for more rock octorocks for upgrading the Garudo mountains have them in the area where the strip mine was in BOTW and now its a chasm. Near the bottom of the hole before you drop into the depths there is an upgrade octorock on the path leading toward the desert and the meteo wizrobes. I’m not sure there may also be others in the area.

Agree, legendary weapons should be legendary. There aren't enough of them to warrant them breaking just as quickly. They should have like 100x the durability of normal crafted weapons just for that alone. Instead they are each good for maybe 10 to 20 kills on high level mobs which is nonsense. Repairing wouldn't be such a bother if I didn't need to make a trip to repair them so damn often. for the magic rods, staves, scepters, there is one more gem type that is magical, yet pretty much useless for anything else but a light: the Star fragment. equip that, and you can fling orbs of light around. they do no damage, i've tested this.

It's likely flavor text. Usually, a weapon effect is indicated by blue highlighted text. Though the armor set does give you charge stamina up on 2* upgrade. You're better off using Biggoron Sword anyway, that one has high durability.

man, finding all the shrines is gonna be a nightmare, since no shrine sensor…

You can unlock the shrine sensor if you speak to Robbie in Lookout Landing and follow his questline.
