Problem is with usb drivers. Search for fastboot drivers. Or download mi flash(not unlock) and it will install drivers. If still not working try to disable drivers signature enforcement on Windows 👍

In my case, I forced hard reset my redmi 9 (miui 12) phone because I bought it second hand and the seller cannot rember his MI account password. Because of that I forced hard reset/wipe data the phone so that I can sign in to my own mi account. But after the hard reset a message popped in the screen saying that my phone is locked because it (the device) was associated with another account(the account of the seller) and it is asking for the password of the account. The cellphone repair shop was able to unlock it using an unlock tool but the thing is I can't use my phone freely. Everytime I use my phone the VPN must be on so that when I connect to the internet using data or wifi the phone won't relock. I can't use some apps like ShareIt because it needs the VPN to be turned off. Will this procedure work for me? Thank you in advance for your answer, Mr.

Is there any bypass of the Wiping data? How can I flash the TWRP without it? Or, how can I backup the whole phone? Before I unlock it? (with everything like apps data, files like photos) I hate the MIUI 12.0.10 so much that it makes me to switch the while phone instead of waiting for another week and installing the Lineage OS. When I disconnect, enter fastboot and reconnect to the computer the computer installs a MTP device or Android driver and unlock tool never recognizes the phone.
