This a LIE! I just called their support after activating my phone and having my phone line being active already for a week. I tried talking to their support but like always they end up giving me a number to call directly; even though needing to verify. Called and some sounding like young guy answered went talking to someone behind my back and asking the questioning if I was going to leave or have another line answered but why did they care?? Anyways after waiting for bout ~3mins he got back and answered the WTF moment apparently in the document or some shit ... they said, phone doesn't unlock until 12 months WTF! SO PHONE DOESN"T COME UNLOCKED or WILL BE UNLOCKED! SCAMMERS/SCAMMER! Will be waiting a couple days and calling again if not other comment is left; then you will know they were liars and scheming scumbags always with hidden agendas. \:

@@leeleetap in reply yes I did get it resolved was no easy task. For had to email them and call a couple times. Wasn’t until I actually got one that helped (2nd one) that said they knew what to do. Was a guy that said he had been working with them for a couple years and that some didn’t know how to fully activate the deal to something like that. I ended up paying for one month but did get refund after a month at the 2nd month. Was given bill credit at that time. Been given bill credit so far for 2 months. Haven’t paid bill technically so far only once but got refunded after about a month. Then credited and told was solved so will see. My app says I got account credit. 2nd month was credited/waived. So far. So will says it’s working, but was no easy task more like a b*t3h. Though phone line not bad least in my area seen 5G symbol show up so that’s nice. Some areas only 1-2 bars like before with old phone line of Cricket but this boost mobile don’t get bad phone calls dropped etc. some areas even gotten full bars never saw that with cricket (under brand of AT&T). Glad switch at least only going be with boost for the year then switch and see if other one is better by (under brand) Verizon forgot what it was called though.

In all of the calling and an email or so… took about ~3 weeks roughly I think if I can recall. Though month until was getting an email they heard or knew of the issue being worked on and resolved. Remember getting an email that it was being worked on… took them about another week or so until was fixed like mid 2nd month. Just an fyi.

Prepaid = 12 months of continuous active service Postpaid = finish the financing or if fully paid outright, wait 3 days and follow this vid

I would like to get their iphone 13 to try boost. I looked into it but it seems I need to be on the network for 12 months to get their 'sale price'. On top of that I need to get the most expensive $60 plan also(60x12=720). I would bite if they allowed me to unlock after 3 months using a cheaper 20-30 plan. I really just want to get a cheap iphone and try the 'rainbow' sim.

I wish i had known this before i purchased mine. The SALES person said nothing. And you are absolutely right. You pay for the phone at a discount price but are locked in. You must keep the most expensive plan one year before you can unlock it. I ended up selling the phone to someone who only wanted a iphone for taking photos and videos.

Ngl… boost has been very disappointing. I got the free year of service and going to be going back to mint. The data speed is aweful and not usable half the time.

@ You don’t know much about boost mobile, they can’t or won’t unlock boost mobile phones, a lot of people have tried to unlock their phones but it didn’t end up well.

If you buy your phone through Apple, why would you have to wait to get it unlocked? (It comes unlocked.) & why would you pay the full price of the phone to boost when you could just buy it from Apple, and again it comes unlocked? 😂 no offense, but what was the point of this video ?

I was really looking forward to this deal before I began digging into it. If you're not living in their "Boost Mobile" 5G area and you are traveling around at all, you will be throttled (de-prioritized) on T-mobile or ATT for data. Dogget you need to be more transparent about getting paid to do these videos. Get your phone for free did you? I noticed you didn't port your real number over. Why not? I really liked your comparisons but this is some real shilling and not cool. I'm willing to bet you delete this comment. I'll be checking.

You’re 100% correct. This is just a paid endorsement without telling us it is. Boost Mobile is by far, the worst carrier in the market.

But many people don't research and that's where being transparent on his part comes in. He only had to add the tag of it being a promotion that you see on other videos to have taken care of this.

His lack of disclosure in this instance is egregious, to be kind. Not just in the sense that he owes viewers transparency or that KZbin requires transparency and disclosure. But because it’s a federal crime. Truly disappointing.

Hey, it turns out I didn’t disclose anything because I was not paid by Boost Mobile, or anyone, to make this video. No money changed hands. I thought some viewers may find it helpful to see how to get their Boost Mobile phones unlocked because there seemed to be some confusion about it on Reddit. I chose not to port my primary number over because I wanted an extra Boost Mobile line for testing. Boost Mobile also doesn’t support RCS just yet, which I feel is an important feature for me. That’s why I kept my primary number on Visible. Is Boost Mobile the best carrier? No, absolutely not. But they can be a good option for some people. And even if their network isn’t great in your area, it can work perfectly fine in other areas. I am sorry if you felt this was a paid or sponsored video.
