Some advertisers do not allow you to unsubscribe. They have the link. You will atop getting them for a couple weeks. Then those companies sign you right back up for the ads. They do it again and again. Wont let you stay unsubscribed because they cram their trash down your throat

I keep unsubscribing from ‘Left Action,’ something I never asked for, but they keep emailing. There should be criminal charges for this intrusion. Thanks for helping others, unfortunately I refuse to use Gmail.

For some senders, it may take more time to unsubscribe you-they don't stop sending emails to you immediately. While in the grace period, I'd recommend blocking these emails or automatically sending them to trash (you need to set up a rule).

There needs to be an option to block emails all together especially spam emails. Cuz I'm currently receiving alot of spam emails which I never even subscribed to and it's annoying having to unsubscribe and delete the emails individually I never subscribed to any of these emails so I'm confused to why I'm getting them and how these people got my email address That's why there needs to be an option to block emails. Sorry to hear that. Sometimes, the email provider may redirect the unsubscribe link to another page. However, you can still try searching for "unsubscribe" in the search bar and see if that helps.

Hey, Clean Email, I recently deleted my Roku account, but I forgot to unsubscribe to marketing emails. So I had to create a new test account with that same email, then unsubscribe from marketing emails, then close that account. Would I still receive marketing emails from the previous closed account since I forgot to unsubscribe, or won't that matter since I unsubscribed to marketing emails using the same email address off that test account I mentioned?

Hi Lexie, usually what you've done is enough. However, it depends on the sender-sometimes they create several mailing lists to get to the recipient one way or another, and you need to unsubscribe from each of them.

Hi Billie, you can try to either find all emails with the Unsubscribe word in them and trash them. Alternatively, there are services that helps you unsubscribe - free (be careful about their privacy policy) and paid.

Clean Email goes all the way such as sending an email message to the sender, following the unsubscribe links found in message headers, and automating completion of unsubscribe forms. For some senders though it may take some time to process your unsubscribe request, and they may continue sending you email in the meantime. Therefore, Clean Email catches messages from unsubscribed mailing lists and moves them to the trash instead of delivering them to your inbox.
