How to Update Firmware of RC6GS V3/RC4GS V3?

Can the RC6GS V3 firmware be uploaded onto the RC4GS V3 controller to unlock the extra channels and install the additional switches? Effectively turning the RC4GS V3 into an RC6GS V3? Thanks

Hi, sir. RC4GS V3 can update the firmware of RC6GS V3. But there are only 5 switches available on RC4GS V3 after you update the firmware. RC4GS V3 cannot be changed into RC6GS V3 by updating the firmware. And we do not recommend you to modify the mainboard of RC4GS V3 to add two more switches, as it may damage the mainboard. HELP!! Did exactly what you are demonstrating, upgraded from 6.7.8s to 6.8.3A (using a Mac) and it went horribly wrong. Backlight of the screen flashes, nothing else works. Exactly like @hermy.santoso is describing. Tried going back to earlier firmware, no success. Please help. What to do?

Hi, sir. Could you please first make sure your transmitter is RC4GS V3, not RC4GS V2 or RC4GS? If it is RC4GS V3, there may be something wrong with the firmware or firmware update process of your RC4GS V3. You can follow the below link to download the firmware and update the firmware again. @@Radiolink_official Yes, it is a RC4GS V3. Yes I have used the right firmware version. Yes initially I did the update using a Mac (since you claim to support MAC: "RC4GS V3 Firmware (Please upgrade by Windows 7,8,10,11, computer, or upgrade by Apple MAC computer).” No, an attempt to fix it using a Windows computer did not fix it. Something else is wrong. Please get me some real tech support. It looks like I need to format the built-in USB/SD drive, but then I need the entire software package to restore (not only the firmware file). Could you check if this is doable?

Hi, sir. Could you please check this tutorial on how to bind them: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n4XVc51tmrRpfJI You need to long press binding button of R7FG. Then the LED will flash quickly, when the light goes solid, the binding is successful. Please note, R7FG has two antennas, which has signal amplification, so it is better not to keep them too close when binding, because there may be signal block. You may keep a distance of more than 50 centimeters when binding them. If there is still any problem when binding, could you please take a video of your binding process to our email [e-mail] ?
