Great stuff, I saw your review video a few days ago, glad to see you sorted it out. There's even more complicated versions of this procedure, for example if you want to unlock bootloader, get root access, install custom roms (gsi roms because there's no actual custom roms available currently). But this was a great video for the average user. It's a pain to have to do it, but it's also nice to know that if anything ever goes wrong.. there's a way to bring it back to life. This doesn't just solve the update problem, but also fixes other problems where it won't boot properly for example. The only thing it can't fix are hardware problems, but if it's a software thing this will usually work.

@@ziarasioannis I haven't received my tablet yet so I don't have first hand experience but I've been researching a lot so that I know what to expect when I start using it. So far, I have seen other users with updates that won't reach 100% complete, but it was usually after they were tweaking/modifying things in a hardcore way. I haven't seen anyone else have this problem with regular tablet usage but I'm sure it does happen for some people. But I also think it might have been bad luck. I don't know exactly what happened for your case but I think there was likely a corruption to the file system structure during a failed update and it wasn't able to fix itself. It's very bad that this can happen and I agree that Lenovo needs to make a fix it so that it doesn't happen again. Looping like that is very annoying. But I also have a strong feeling that your future updates will function normally from now on. Whatever problem that caused this to happen should be fixed now and you now have a fresh install with everything in the file system the way it should be.

@@ziarasioannis It was late at night when watching these vids, sorry.. I didn't realize that this same problem had happened for you twice. That's really bad and shows that Lenovo probably does have a bigger problem that needs fixing. On my new Motorola phone, I've recently found a way via adb commands in Windows (cmd) to manually flash the update without using Rescue and Smart Assistant. RSA forces you to always use latest version, but this other way means you can flash any version you want, if you can find a source for that version of the ROM. When going back to an earlier update, factory reset is required. When flashing to a newer update, it's not required and all of your stuff stays. Having to factory reset after every update is really bad. I'm not sure if I will be able to find a way to do this on the Lenovo device but I will try, once I get the chance to test these things. If I find any information about this Lenovo update problem, I will share it here.

Yes, really convenient and easy... What he 'forgot' to mention is that in order to run this RSA program you have to disable Windows Memory Integrity under the Core Isolation tab so that it can install a bunch of outdated Mediatek and Lenovo drivers! And after you have (hopefully) successfully gone through this unbelievable hassle and flashed your device's firmware, you have to hunt down all those installed drivers through Device Manager to enable Memory Integrity again. So, good luck and good night! All right, that was a bit of a rant, but I really hope this is not something you have to do regularly to update your device. It is definitely not a sustainable solution considering the average customer. And for additional note, my device is P11 gen2 and hosts OS Win11.

Well you can try reset it. If the tablet still has the default rom in it and you didnt delete it totally it should come back to factory settings

Have you update to the latest application from the microsoft store? maybe its the problem of the programme itself and its not your fault? It should tell you while the tablet opens up to release the volume button and proceed. Otherwise i don't know what s the solution to your problem. Maybe unistall and install another version of the Rescue and Smart assistant. Not sure though!

Heyyy, I have the same tablet but the Mediatek processor version currently running on android 13 so there's an issue with it that it doesn't play Netflix in HD resolution idk why because everything's else seems to be working fine, If I reinstall the firmware again with this software in your video will it solve it?

Yeah man it feels laggy after the latest update for me also. No idea whats wrong with lenovo it used to feel lot faster. Try not to update the latest update keep the first on my suggestion. For me to be a bit slow doesnt disturb me
