Yeah It is a known issue that happens on some systems. I think they sort of fixed it in the latest patch but not fully. So there's a workaround that you can up the dialogue volume and lower the sound effects to 5 or 6 and that will cope up nicely. But still you definitely need to install the updates as it fixes a plethora of ridiculous bugs. Just use AIO update 1.6 and extract to the installed game. Similarly follow the guide for update 1.7 and your game is fully updated

Also I've already showed every step and updated from my 1.5 version to 1.6 and cleared shader cache with the nvidia cache explorer. That ensures that game work without any problems

Brother your CPU already supports every instructions sets so you don't even need that fix at all. It's only for low end CPUs. Just make sure your GPU is 6gb vram or more and you can play the game at 1080p max settings already 😊

Fps severely drops from 110 to 50-60 fps in Ultra- High settings, when entered Svartalfheim Realm. This became a common issue even with RTX 4080 and for most of High end systems. I dunno.

@@Bentenherkes Yes, that vram info is buggy. Regarding the fps drops shadows, amd fsr and tessellation are the biggest factors. I'd suggest lowering them to high since the loss is quality is barely noticeable. That will result smooth locked framerate.

The update 6 brings tessellation fixes, audio normalisation for dialogues to match the sfx, and cpu and gpu performance improvements. Even on my cpu in the first Svartalfheim stage I saw improvements where previously it was dropping to 22 fps now it's 30 locked at medium settings without fsr fg. So Yeah, it's worth the upgrade.

Yeah, as the name suggests its meant to be used with Nvidia GPU so it won't work with AMD graphics cards. To delete amd shader cache refer to your graphics control panel and see if there's a "reset shader cache" option then use it to reset the shader cache. @@Mosellas This exact issue was fixed by just updating the game to the latest version when patch 1.5 was released. Same need to be done for patch 1.6. Do as follows : 1. Install your fresh game any version 2. Download AIO update (recommended) and update your game 3. Use the avx2 or f16c patch if required by cpu 4. (important) you must delete shader cache exactly as shown in video Now your game should run fine

About stuttering though, what I've noticed as players have said, if your cpu supports FMA like fx 8350 does you won't be getting stutters but if your cpu doesn't then probably you're likely to have stuttering. It can only be fixed by the devs if they release a proper patch for it.

You're having sound issues in a 12th gen cpu and 3060? That's new. Probably something else is going on with your pc cause with that specs you shouldn't be facing any problem at all. I suggest just lock the fps what your pc can handle. I played at 30fps almost full game and never had stuttering even with lots of enemies in those challenges. Lastly you can try removing shader cache with the program in the description link. Hope that helps

Updating with just the latest AIO update 6 & AVX2 fix should be enough for your PC to play the game just fine. Sound fix files in my last video was only needed if you're experiencing any missing sounds like attack, shield, or block or enemy hits etc. Typically that happens when the repacks remove the language files but unintentionally remove necessary sound files too. For a full installation it is not needed. You can easily play the game with medium settings:)

@@fahimkabir4626 One is a quad core, supports avx and the other is a dual core cpu without avx support. Dx12 games tend to require a decent CPU to offload shaders in runtime. So despite your GPU and Ram being bare minimum from the game's requirements, it will bottleneck heavily by the CPU. So even if it manages to run the game somehow, the experience will not be pleasing.

This patch is meant for old CPUs that don't support newer instructions so obviously using it will reduce your performance. But, you can just install the update 6 and then latest update 7 and don't use the mod patch. Just use the crack if you're using it. That way you'll get updated game and better performance too. @@bhaibhaibro1933 I don't own an AMD card but I think it typically stores all the shader caches in location C:\Users\"your_username" \AppData\Local\AMD\DxcCache Please note that if it's "Dxcache" (notice the extra C in the above) it might be for dx11. So you don't want to delete it. Since the game is dx12 go with DxcCache and delete that folder. Now you should be able to recompile shaders. But take note it contains shaders of all the games so the size maybe around 4~5 gb. If you can find any folder or file inside with GoWR name that will be easier to delete.

Also the avx2 mod gets updated frequently so I highly recommend to download it from the original Trusted Nexus source to get the latest version without any virus or malware. Also, as a note, never disable defender unless you're sure what you're doing. Mods from nexus are mostly safe and do not trigger defender so always download directly from the website. Sound is calculated on FMA instruction set and it was first introduced in Intel 4th gen CPUs whereas in AMD, FMA3 and FMA4 were present in bulldozer and piledriver CPUs since 2011. So, that's why sound is crackling on these intel systems, unless it's fixed officially, or a mod removes FMA requirements

@@BeastTweaks OK so now that I understand there are more than gpu limitations here. The cpu is 4 cores and ram is 12gb. The game uses around 10gb to work effectively. Windows 10 uses 3gb alone. So a game with a massive 175gb size will tend to get stutter when cannot load assets quickly. I'll suggest few steps you can try to lessen the issue : 1. Make sure you update the game properly and delete old shader cache and build a new one. 2. Use the F16c patch 3. Use temporal AA with quality preset ingame 4. Don't use framegen, fsr 5. Limit fps to 30 like I've shown in video 6. Run the game with High priority 7. Set the sound settings to 16bit 44100hz or 48000hz 8. Lastly, it's common step to Do a System RESTART instead of SHUTDOWN to clear the system timers and after login do not run any program just run the game. Most of the time it works. In the most uncanny case you need to lower the game resolution to 720p and use temporal AA to quality. But the game will look too blurry. Hope it helps.

There's something wrong with your system. I'm not sure but you can try the following : 1. First try to run the game as admin to see if it fixes the issue. 2. If it works for you say 6 hrs or so and then crashes its definitely overheating the components or a power saver setting has been turned on. But then again your save files shouldn't be lost at all. 3. Check for faulty RAM modules and replace if spare available. Then check if the issue persists. 4. Try to install the game on a different SSD/HDD see that if it makes any difference. Last method is to format the system and then install any other game to see if the problem is with every game. In which case you should check faulty components individually.

And no its not systems fault bcz it runs other games for more than 6+ hours and doesnt crash etc. But I think I may have found the solution. Make sure you've updated the game with the AIO update and applied the real avx2 patch. Fx cpus have similar architecture so if it runs on 8350 it should run on 8300 as well. It's just the gpu that is very limited here so you may expect lag on medium high settings. If it still crashes after these steps maybe your game files are corrupted so reinstall and try again. If that version have all the main game files the patch should work fine. Only where some files are missing causes issues during patching.
