Hello there, is there any option to unlock an entry after being verified by Verifying officer? and how to unlock the service book of an employee to update PAN number of the concerned employee

It can be corrected by official having e-correction role. If not given to anyone, then office administrator will have to give role to authorised employee who in turn would correct it and all changes would be recorded.

We would like to tell that check of entering Retirement details or Extension details is deliberately put so as to ensure correctness of data entered in iHRMS. Government takes data from us to build their decisions on manpower planning and if data is wrong then the decision making can go wrong. It is requested to all that not only this check is being enforced for once but will be there always so that data is kept updated. Also we are going to put a check on sanctioned strength and effective strength. We have noticed that either departments have not entered their sanctioned strength or entered it wrongly. So when difference of sanctioned strength and actual strength is taken then actual strength is many a times more than sanctioned strength. It is requested to update the same. From next month this check will be in force. Besides, District Treasury Officers(DTOs) have been given to access to iHRMS data so as to see that salary may not be drawn more than the sanctioned strength. Please bear this for the betterment and we solicit cooperation from all of you.
