For RR we have only two dedicated options: LR v2.0 or JLR V160 Mongoose, I am planning to get also the Mongoose in the near future, but this one needs a laptop and the hacked software is harder to install on local machine, that's why i went on the more expensive version the LR v2.0. So basically if you want something intuitive and easy to use without any extra hardware, get the LR v2.0. But if you want something more cheap there are allot of cloned JLR V160 Mongoose out there for example: www.aliexpress.com/item/4000993098445.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.2f876383XSMaTP&algo_pvid=a010f683-05e2-4ed2-8286-cf1ba43a3be0&algo_exp_id=a010f683-05e2-4ed2-8286-cf1ba43a3be0-0 For me locally in Romania I've set my eyes on this one: www.olx.ro/d/oferta/tester-auto-interfata-diagnoza-jaguar-land-rover-160-jlr-mongoose-IDbJAo5.html?reason=observed_ad There is also the original Mongoose cable on Amazon but you will have to pay subscription to the JLR application in order to use it, so regarding the costs effective, the original one doesn't worth the trouble in my opinion, unless you are repairing/diagnosing minimum five RR cars per day :)
