How to update Tp-Link WiFi Router firmware

Will this erase all router configuration ? If yes than how can i configure it back as previous on new firmware because my network providers had done specific settings in my router without it my internet doesnt work and also i dont know which settings are they can you help me how can i save these settings and apply after my router upgraded to new firmware

Dear follower, thanks for comment, its just update your tp-link router firmware version, it doesn't erase your router configurations, so you can easily update your router version without loosing your configurations.

It will erase your network configuration, it happened with me. Kindly take backup of your router in system tools then upgrade it afterall you can restore your settings.

Can I still use the Internet while the router is upgrading or will all devices be disconnected? And what happens if the router is turned off during the upgrade process?

This process will complete in just few minutes, when your router upgraded it will automatically restart, after restart your router you can use your WiFi without loosing your configurations

When I am accessing the web browser camera's user interface using its IP, I am getting the error The connection for this site is not secure 192.x.x.x.x uses an unsupported protocol. ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH Unsupported protocol The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite. Also even if I reset the camera, it doesn't accept the default password in the sticker.

@@dailytechandtricks Hi and thank you for your fast response. I followed before this page after searching in Google, but it doesn't provide me any solution unfortunately. Any ideas how I can make the cameras password to be reset with another way? Because with the reset button it doesn't change after the reset process. It still says wrong password.

@@dailytechandtricks Thanks again mate! I found a different solution. By changing the tls parameters in Firefox config tls.security.min and .max and I was able to log in to the camera's user interface website.

When it says choose hardware version, do I have to choose the version that the device has or the version we are going to upgrade to????

Choose your device model then select your model version and download last updated file, if you have already installed the last updated file you don't need to be installed, thanks

First you check your router version then you search on this website, after that if your version is already upgraded and match with website last update, so you don't need to upgrade
