Except windows defender says the rar file from megazip has a virus and won't allow you to bypass defender as you "need another app" to do that. After many unsuccessful tries with connecting via all the different ways it finally did it without the computer. I used connect via wifi (bottom option) and got connection but would not update. Then I tried a second option and it asked for the wifi password again (which it already had connection to in the main menu) then went back to option 1 (bluetooth) and it finally connected and then updated. I have owned it for 4 months and tried several times to no avail before this.

Everything you can update using Max tool , and this obd mini needs only been connected to power, and mini obd can be powered with USB or when is connected in cars obd. That's easiest way to do that. Always when you use that kind stuff you must disable your virus and firewall protection, that why I have PC that I use only for that kind stuff.

For the start you must have key tool max, but then you can use obd separately with app
