I recently got a new number, everything pretty much works great. But when I text another apple user off iMessage, it comes up as my email instead of my number. Now usually you would just be able to go in settings, send and receive, then select your number instead of email, but the number that is in my send and receive is my old number and when I select it it goes grey with the loading circle at the side and after about 20 minutes it goes back to normal selecting my email. I need help setting the number in ‘send and receive’ to my new number

Amira Syuhada my problem has been resolved, apple told me that you have to minimum balance of rs10 something so that imessage can be activated, in to order to do so an international message will be sent from your mobile phone so you must have enabled the international message service (contact. carrier service to confirm) then an international msg will be sent and there you good to go....
