Amazing , Fianlly my icloud activation lock is off thanks to iremover , you can find it on google I like some of the transitions, but sometimes they're a bit too much and are seemingly random. Since we use these persistent elements that transition across pages to indicate some kind of relationship between the previous and the next states, some of your transitions confuse me because I can't immediately see what the relationship is. For example 2:23 of the selectable tiles (which weren't selected) transition into being two switches... does that mean anything? are they related in some way? I see this as random and a bad use of the design language. However, at 1:14 I like the transition from switches to the ticks on a paper, that makes sense to me. Epic presentation tho

I to am getting those constant messages, I deleted most of my photos from phone and icloud but still at 4.9 gigs, but then @4:40 when I disable icloud storage I got a lot of space back, I thought I needed icloud to store photos on phone... I understood most of what your saying so it did help. I'll watch video several more times to see if find more stuff I dont need to free up space. I just want to make sure I dont shut off something I need but still keep half dozen photos on notes, 2-3 dozen photos in photo section. Also take photos and videos, have half dozen apps like imovie, calculator, youtube, gmail, chrome, last but not least still send/receive text messages and phone calls, thanks for sharing tips............

*I removed the icloud lock from my iphone 14 using iRemover* The iPhone 14 is my first flagship Apple device. Coming from a Pixel 7, I have a few observations. The battery life is awesome, speakers are solid, Bluetooth connectivity is seemless, and the screen is smooth, despite coming from a 90htz display on the Pixel 7, I haven’t really seen a huge difference on the 60htz screen on the IPhone 14. I absolutely love this phone.

Very good video & explained very well because this can be a problem when you are not sure weather you should have iCloud or not which in most cases shows that you don't need it as Apple trys to make out that you need it.

Disabling photos only stops more photos being uploaded. It does not delete the photos and videos already stored in iCloud ?

I am getting a warning that says "Your iPhone can't be backed up. You don't have enough storage to back up this device." But when I go to Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Account Storage, the screen shows only 1.1 GB of 5 GB Used. Apple ID > iCloud > Backups > iPhone (This iPhone) shows zero kB, indicating nothing was actually backed up. I am guessing that it couldn't back up because some item *would* take up a lot of space and the total back up *would* exceed 5 GB free space, but I can't figure out what items would. I set it up so the Photo Library is excluded from the phone backup, and no other apps have data of substantial size. "Next Backup Size..." kept showing "Loading...". Any idea?
