Probably you could add an SSD of same size as the HDD, but I don't have it any more hence I can't really tell. Are you really still using this PC?

@@allcheckout haha, I was going through an old junk box and found it, fired it up to see if it was still working and it was. My little boy has been playing with it so I was thinking about upgrading the RAM and maybe putting a cheap SSD in, but not really sure it's worth the effort!

I think I upgraded finally to Windows 10, but now don't use it any more, but was a great laptop for the price.
