No idea if it's possible, but I'd kill for a focal reducer/variable ND hybrid. Full frame image and the ability to ditch the matte box would be pretty mind blowing.

While it is true that the Canon drop-in variable nd filter does not go down to 0 stops, Canon does make a clear drop-in filter as do Breakthrough and Kolari Vision.

NDs should have been built into the Komodo, like they are standard on Arri, C300/500, bmpcc 6k pro and probably pretty much every entry level cine camera to be released.

How does the 8sinn evolution deal with reflections vs the metabones ? Also 8sinn makes a cage that has support for the canon speedbooster and the pl to rf mount so you can change much faster during a project . I have have sigma cine lenses and ef sigma art series at different lengths I can use both art and cine to match if needed. And just swap mount supports much faster with 8sinn right ?

I recently bought the bright tangerine and Metabones RF-to-PL Lens Adapter, but when I go to place the pl mount it doesn't seat In all the way. Looking at it seems like a gap like the speedbooster isn't long enough to seat with the support adapter. Any ideas

I have the Komodo with the Metabones PL to RF 0.71x Speedbooster and the DZO Vespid 21 & 40. I can't get anywhere near infinity focus, is this a problem with the lenses and/or adapter, or does that combo definitely require shims?

The Vocas PL - RF adapter looks really tight when you put it on in this video. The only review of it on B&H says theirs was so tight they had to cut it off. Is it as bad as all that? Would you recommend others over it?

As for the canon .71 focal reducer ....It just feels good owning it knowing you have the full frame look . Its worth it for how much stress is reduces with limitations you had before it . Lol . in sunlight it has some ghosting but just dnt shoot into sun Or some lighting situations or take of the adapter for those situations . There are always pros and cons but full frame and better low light it feels good . You'll just look at it and be amazed by it .

@@creativegreats6924 I haven't used that exact common in a while. But from what I can remember the back elements of the Sigmas shouldn't hit the optic in the PL SB like some other lenses do so you should be fine. Jake

@@CVPTV the sigmas pl mount do have a black part at the end that the Zeiss cp2 and cp3 dont have so I hope the sigma back elements do not touch the optics of the metabones pl to rf speedbooster
