I did upgrade my pc from Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 11 directly without upgrading to Windows 10 Pro. Most people said that a direct upgrade is not possible. But it is possible if you meet the requirements and have the original windows license. And the whole process was smooth without any hiccups.

if we had a way to jump direct from 8.1 to 11 should be perfect, we would avoid all the garbage and trash that 10 create, also not only the useless waste of space would be avoided but would be awesome to avoid anything from the worst system base from last 10 years... many here not know but windows 10 is like vista and millenium, the base code is absurdly bad done, that is why windows 8.1 was lighter and was able to do the the same work with 90% more performance, even games runs with more than 30fps than windows 10, things that run with 70 fps in windows 10 (build "only" to w10), still worked in 8.1 and was able to reach 90 to 100 fps. well, 8.1 was 1/2 of windows 7 weight, sure this system will be missed.
