Would 4K IP cameras support this EOC trasmitter and receiver linovision setup? What 4K IP cameras would you recommend? I want to use synology surveillance system instead of a traditional NVR. Does that work?

Hi, You can use EOC-Converter (Receiver+Transmitter) with 4K IP camera. The transmission bandwidth can be max 100Mbps in 1000ft, or 10Mbps in3000ft. The required bandwidth for one 4K IP camera is about 8Mbps (H.264 encoding) or 4Mbps(H.265 encoding). So it is definitely no problem to transmit 4K IP camera videoover coaxwithout losing quality. I have question about wiring your Long Reach Ethernet Transmitter/Receiver; We installed one pair and ran Coax Cable between the transmitter and receiver as pictured in your booklet. It’s approximately 700 feet between the transmitter and receiver. When it get colds out, the camera goes out and when it warms up, the camera comes back on. We feel that when it is cold, usually below 32F, the power is dropping between the transmitter and receiver. Is that possible? How could this be fixed? Thanks in advance.

yes, I believe so. the transmission bandwidth is 100Mbps in 1000ft, or 10Mbps after 1,000ft, which is also sufficient for one 4K POE IP camera.

hi.thank you for sharing your video and demo.. this is my situation , i have 4 analog cameras outside in my warehouse i used cat6 cable and used each twisted pair of wire to send video ( by bnc valun) to the dvr. and each 4 camera have their own power supply. now, i want to add 1 or 2 more ip cameras and planning to use PoE switch. will this work on my situation..is this eoc transmitter really need tx and rx? since i can connect a shorter bnc coax direct to the analog camera after the eoc? and i already have cat6 cable..i wish you could help me with my project..again many thanks.

@@linovision hi..thank you very much with your prompt reply.. i will study all the options you have suggested...and btw.. i have a Dahua DH-XVR1B16-I and i can connect poe switch to 1 LAN port...main problem is running additional 1 cat6 cable from dvr to outside of the house. that's why i want use only the existing cat6 cable which is already in use...again many thanks with all your suggestions
