Thank you so much. I’m currently awaiting my matric 2020 results. My initial plan was to get into medicine via GEMP. However, I’ve lost all hope seeing that less than 100 applicants are accepted per annum. The chances of acceptance are extremely low. I’d have to go through so much of trouble by studying a 3 year degree that I can’t really do anything with only to get rejected.

Hay Selu, thanks for informative videos. I have a question, i was reading on UNISA web i found the following: (Can I apply for admission to NDP with only a Grade 12 certificate? Prospective students with only a Grade 12 without any previous tertiary studies may not apply for admission to register for NDP.) If this is so, can i write Math,English and Physics at a private institution at grade 12 level( i had Math lit & no Physics). Then attach to my grade 12 certificate. Then will i be accepted or it will not be considered?. i mean for instance, applying directly to medical school or any other course that required the above subjects?

WEPT is for graduate candidates not for school leavers. If u from high school u start at 1st year of study.

Hi Selu thank you so much for the video ❤ I have a question I saw on the wits application site that uhm for entry into the GEMP the preferred courses you can do are , physics (for 6 months) , maths ( for 6 months) and the biology for a full year and then only after that you can apply into the programme Or am I misunderstanding? if I do higher certificate in physical science, is it the possible for me to transfer these credits to wits Bachelors degree in engineering in aeronautical engineering? If so great. Currently doing ABET level 4 (NQF 1) then grade 12 with subjects in mathematics and physical sciences and life science as an alternative.

They offer lessons and all that jazz...it's not an actual High school its just a rewrite centre nje. So mina I'm asking if Wits Med school or pharmacy school considers people like me...who rewrote Maths

Hello Thabo🌸😇 Thank you for your question, so actually you have to have upgraded your Maths before you apply for GEMP because your application will be regretted because your current maths marks won't be meeting the requirements, so you would have wasted your application fee money, rather upgrade first and then apply. i am currently doing second year BSc in biochemistry and microbiology, i had a fall out in 2017 and 2018 so my academic record is not in good shape because of those years but right now i.ve resumed my degree working hard at it, do i still have stand a chance with the marks am working on in my second and third year? and i have rest of the requirements

Hello Sifiso🙏 Thank you for sharing and I'm so sorry, I believe you still have a chance especially as you are in your second year because that means when you get to 3rd year you will work even harder to get your marks to at least 75% average between the two years (2nd and 3rd year) because for GEMP they only consider the last 2 years of to your degree💪💪💪 keep on pushing You Got This You are doing the degree I did💃😅🤗
