We at Human & Suten did not want to offend anyone as we only compared to what we should get from our ISP (Internet Service Provider) and what we actually get. Hey all FYI the latest Driver on Intel's site doesn't include the same install file which meant when i tried this didn't work. The solution is to go find the exact version of the driver this guys uses, which doesn't seem to be available on the Intel's site anymore. I found mine on some shady site but worked out fine... posting this comment is the first thing I'm doing since getting it going.

You swapped the MAIN and AUX wires, that's wrong. Colors are different on the intel card

I wonder if your upgrade helped because the Qualcomm Atheros Killer Wi-Fi card that you had was defective / faulty, or if the card itself is just terrible. I have the exact same laptop as you and am so angry will Dell. This is twice now that I have bought laptops from DELL that were just terrible (this one crashes every day or multiple times a day since I got it). Makes me think that quality control at Dell is a complete joke. And maybe it is the same with the Qualcomm Atheros Killer Wi-Fi card - maybe like 60% of them are totally fine, but a high percentage are bad. I don't know about what speed the Qualcomm Atheros Killer Wi-Fi card has, but for sure on my laptop at least it loses connection to the router really often (and only fix is a restart). Whereas my Asus laptop or mobile phone does not. Well Thanks for the upload! Yes hello until next time! JB p.s. I have owned about 5 Dell laptops over the years, all were great except the last 2 - which were both of the slimmer style design (last one was a Precision m3800 that had exploding battery and 1st Gen defective motherboard). DELL knew about the motherboard issue which is why there was a 2nd Gen version of it released - but they kept quiet about it so 13 months later when it became a $2000 brick that would not power on that was just my problem! My advice - don't buy Dell XPS or Precision M laptops - and if you do and you get ANY problems return it for a refund.

Question: you downloaded the drivers after you've installed the new card. How did you do it since my dell xps 15 doesnt have an ethernet slot?

As we explained in the video, i did that on my own laptop. The laptop that we did this tutorial on was Humans laptop who also has a Dell XPS 15 like me. So i downloaded the drivers on my laptop and transferred them over to Humans laptop.

if you are considering the wifi 6e card replacement on the Dell XPS 15 9500 being described online and in KZbin it wont work because the killer chip is soddered to the board and looks nothing like the one being shown in any of the videos. Which actually sucks.....and is not even mentioned in this video

I got a DELL Precision 7510 laptop and i got the old wifi 8260 card. Should i install the drivers for the 9260 before i get the new adapter card ? Will they conflict with the old drivers ? I want to download the new drivers before hand, since swapping the card will not allow me internet connection anylonger since i would not have the drivers installed. This is way i want to installed the new drivers before hand. Just wondering if this will work.

Download the drivers beforehand then you can mount the wifi card and install the drivers. There should be no conflict between drivers as they are different cards that require completely different drivers.

Just handle it with care and take your time. Don't stress and do it when you have a lot of time over. This was my first time doing it on a laptop and it went smoothly because I took my time.

@@HumanSuten So the AX200 would be the best one to go with as of right now? i have a xps 15 9570. I just upgraded to gigabyte internet so i want to get the most i possibly can out of that. My pc is wired so i get 950 up and down which is amazing but i want my laptop to be just as good if not as close as i can be. Thank you!

It will maintain your fps better because when the laptop gets warmer it will throttle which means the CPU will run at a slower speed so the fps well decrease over time when playing games. So in that sense yes, it will benefit your fps.

I insulated the third (grey) wire and installed the card and it seems to run fine. The laptop instantly spotted the card and auto loaded the SW so all good. :-)
