How to upload a .HEX file to an Arduino Nano

Before watching this video, my initial flash over USB didn't work for the Arduino Nano from Aliexpress. Changing the baud rate did the trick! I was also able to flash an ATmega328P in DIP package that I wasn't able flash before with this trick. Thanks so much!

I think it also erases the bootloader of the microcontroller, at least for me .

Yes that is probably true. This way it totally replaces the program on the chip. You can however depending on the hex file set it to be written to specific regions of the chip memory (at least other similar techniques work that way). But that is advanced class. ;)

Bruh in version 2.17, i cant find "Arduino" in "Select a programmer"

I selected Arduino board as programmer using arduino as ISP firmware and it seemed to work
