Hi Cassidy! You will need digitizing software to accomplish this! There are free ones such as Inkscape/inkstitch and paid ones such as Embrilliance or Embird (aff link: amzn.to/3Arc1Hc).

Can I upload a custom design that's already been digitalized to my Brother SE 1900 or do I need some kind of Software to do this? I'm new to embroidery and my wife Tracey wants to learn to do this I'm trying to get her started. I haven't purchased the SE 1900 yet but, which one would you recommend that does both embroidery and sewing. Thanks

It’s going to be the same exact way she did this. Just save the image from the internet to a file and do exactly what she did here! :) I’m not sure if there’s an easier way but it’ll work just like she did it with her own design

As long as the image is digitized for embroidery the process is the same. If not, it will need to be digitized first and saved in the correct file type.

Yes, you can using Sew What Pro 64 program. You an add your design and name and save as one file!

Hi Matt, yes it works for Mac book also. I am not familiar with the se1900 but I did a quick google search and it appears to be the exact same process!

ClutchBen they need to be digitized files that your machine accepts. Sew Art Digitizer and Embrilliance are examples of programs you can use to digitize fonts and hand made drawings.

I have this machine and I bought a Singer it has a bigger hoop but if you don't change the tension u will hate the Singer for embroidery. However this is help for the Brother 4x4 machine. ok what is device u storage your images on?

Hi Deveeda, I store my images on my computer. You can also store them on a removeable Flash drive (usb drive).

Lele, you can either use a USB data cord or you can put the files onto a portable USB flash drive and then insert the drive directly into the USB port on your machine.

Josh, you will most likely need to get an adapter. It fits the USB-C on the Surface Pro and gives you all the other adapters. That is what I need for my laptop.

Hi Jamie, you would need to digitize your art work to convert it into an embroidery file. Hatch and Embird are popular.

I have several files that I saved as PES files. Some will show the box with the picture of the file I want but I have a few that no box with picture is showing up. I see that the file has transferred. What am I doing wrong and how do I get the picture box to show up?
