Investing in alternative income streams that are independent of the government should be the top priority for everyone right now. especially given the global economic crisis we are currently experiencing. Stocks, gold, silver, and virtual currencies are still attractive investments at the moment.

I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and I followed it in my younger working years. If you are not going to be a Dr. or Lawyer and go with blue collar you can still become wealthy. But work for companies that offer defined pension. Stay away from the 401 k. That was good advice Mr. Kyosaki gave. And real estate that didn’t provide income is not an asset. So I bought a duplex. The only thing that I don ‘t agree with is going into deep debt. Ken and Robert do… I think it is a bad idea for the regular person.

I love ya Robert, but go easy on us stackers. We're not at your level but at least we're earning more than we're spending and putting aside something for our future. We're positioning ourselves better than people who are not saving or are positioned in treasuries or other inherently worthless assets. Once these bubbles collapse, we will need an immediate transition to a free market so gold holders can capitalize vital producers and mass production and modern civilization can be preserved. There's something to be said for keeping gold on the sidelines for this time.

It's not a supply problem. Cities made it illegal to build affordability. THOW It's just a way to get around the housing regulations. If smaller housing was allowed as it was before 1920. Affordability would happen. The average house size in 1900 was 8-900 sqft and 1 person could afford to support 5-7 kids. Today the only thing legal to build is 5000 sqft and the household size is 1.5 people per house.

Key takeaways: 1. Two types of people: those that run their mouth, and those who take action. 2. Think bigger: either be a thought leader or surround yourself with them. 3. Run with the big dogs: get around success to become successful. 4. There are certain ideologies that will destroy the middle class. Without the middle class, it's very difficult to go from poor to rich. Note: Conferences are great places to go be surrounded by thought leaders and big dogs. Just avoid the chiwawas.
