@@cameronbosch1213 Dude I agree, but... I've been using an iPad to manage my KZbin channel and edit since before LumaFusion, before iPadOs and it worked great. If people wanna do basic tasks they can buy a basic 10.2inc iPad or just use their phone. It's a game changer b'cause I can now use a mouse that IS actually made for iPadOs, not just another feature. I can say from experience it can replace plenty more than basic tasks.

I can help you with that, I've been using it, it lacks the smooth scrolling like the trackpad and magic mouse, the rest feels nice, you do have left and right clicking.

I would say yes with 99.9% certainty. You can already use non-Apple branded mice (in fact, they work much better than the Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad) with pre-13.4 versions of iPadOS.

When I am using the non apple mouse like the Logitech MX master 3 the keyboard doesn't pop up and there is no way to kill a background application! it's been known for some time now that Apple mice and trackpads work worst with iPadOS. I would say just wait a week for 13.4 which will fix those problems, but if you're in a rush, you can use any ordinary Bluetooth mouse and most of its features will work.

I am running iPadOS 13.4 beta and scrolling is not available for the original Magic Mouse and trackpad. There is an option to turn scrolling on and off in the mouse/trackpad menu under general in settings. So my guess is that scrolling for the original Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse has not been turned on by Apple. Maybe Apple will implement scrolling when they release 13.4 to the public March 24th.

Considering the power that the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pros pack, it already is a hell of a productivity device maybe even more so than most laptops (because of the sublime stylus). The only thing it lacks are power apps and I have a feeling that this will change with iPad OS 14.
