Thank you for your suggestion, and I'll definitely keep it in mind. But it is a fine balance; my first viewers were zoomed in a little bit, and I got quite a few messages to zoom out. :-D

Another great video! Thank you! Are dictionaries global, as in do I only have to create/initialise them once in the main workflow, and then all called workflows can 'see' the dictionary?

Yes and no. I almost always use the ReFramework for my automations, and in the ReFramework the dictionary used for config info is NOT declared as a global variable, but passed between the different workflows as a parameter. I have a series of videos on the ReFramework you might want to check out. But you CAN - using the Data Manager in UiPath Studio - create a global variable for a config dictionary, and I think that a config dictionary is as good a time as you’ll ever find for using a global variable.

I scimmed through the video as I already knew most of this information but one thing to bring to notice if I missed it in the video is that you can't add Credentials to get assets tab. You have to put it in the systems tab with the name of the Credential asset as the value, and later use get credentials.

HiJeppe, i have list of name which will be changing as and when and want to add that list of name in the new tab of the config file. How can I retrieve the value. My agenda is randomly need to pick one name from the list of name. Could you help me on this please

hello can I ask ? Why in my Project Explorer - Data, cannot list Config.xlsx ? I use comunity edition

That's really a good one of config file. I have a doubt that if multiple bots use the same config file at the same time, it will throw an error right? In this case, how can we handle it.

Thanks Shiva :-) Multiple bots reading from the same config file should not be a problem, as long as the file is not opened by the Excel application.
