I also did this about four years ago and just loved the results. However, I don't have many matching stamps, so I die cut the same leaf separately, colored it & placed in the leaf impression on the card! Works very nicely! The other work around I did, was die cut the leaf on scrap paper & used the negative space as a mask over the impressed leaf so I could color in the impressed image without making a mess! That also was successful! Always so pleased when I can figure out these alternative ways to accomplish something...doesn't happen that often...LOL!

Thank you for giving me a new technique❣️ When my clear stamps stop sticking, I rub the back with a tiny bit of hand sanitizer and it’s good as new.

If you wash them in soap and water they usually stick better too. If I’m in the middle of something I’ll just put a smear of glue stick on a stamp until I can clean it properly !

Wow…this is really cool. I’ve been stamping for 30 years and have never seen this technique. TYFS In regards to your Wink of Stella, I was just telling another KZbinr that I will usually add 3-5 coats of the Wink of Stella when I use it because it gives it a much more noticeable shine. 💕🌸💕

This is a really interesting technique Chrissie, and I must look to see if I have any flat back dies, but I'm not sure that I do, and I do love that Cuttlebug folder. The embossing looks so deep it looks very 3D for an old embossing folder, and the glitter card complements it perfectly. x

It doesn't have to be leaves, and flat backed die and matching stamp should be ok😊

I just used it with the die and then cut a leaf with the die. After inking the separate die cut leaf, I glued it into the impressed area.

Hi. A new technique I haven't seen done before. I was wondering that rubber mat you first laid down,would a piece of craft foam work the same? A tip for when your trying to line up a stamp, lay a piece of acetate or a sturdy piece of clear platic over top of where your trying to line up your stamp. Then do a practice stamp onto the acetate, then you will see if your stamp is positioned where you need it. I also use this technique when im hand stamping a message, helps to show if stamp is straight. Hopefully you'll give this a try. Thanks for another great video. Enjoy the day.
