I LOVE using 3D embossing folders and i LOVE using vellum, but i was getting cracks, heres a simple solution !!

Wonderful tip on using a plain piece of card stock under the vellum when using the embossing folder!!! Results: two card fronts with one go on the Big Shot👍

Great idea! I love working with vellum! You should also watch Scrapbooking Made Simple's latest video where she layers ink and embossing powder after embossing with a 3D embossing folder to create a surface that looks ike glazed ceramic!

Thank you, I haven’t seen that, but I’m going to bet she used clear embossing powder, it gives a beautiful glass/gloss effect, you can also try with any translucent powders. 🥰🥰🥰

I don’t think I mentioned this in the video as I originally did this as a quick TikTok clip… I had my vellum in front of my card stock and when I picked up my card stock to embossing I’d grabbed a piece of vellum as well, didn’t realise, put it through and was amazed, so it’s my go to now, love a happy accident 🤗🤗🤗
