Hello, I am going to buy my first drill machine for my electronic projects. I will need to drill on wood and metal like tin surface which we usually see in various metal enclosing of electric devices like voltage stableisher or even water coolers. I may occasionally also need to drill in concrete wall, wall tile, kitchen tiles etc. To drill on walls is not my work but if I will have a drill machine then i may obviously want to use it sometimes in my home. So do you think this drill machine is good for my requirement or is there any better machine which i should buy?

Yes. this should solve your problem

Is there any difference between gsb 500watt and gsb 600watt . and which is is better
@davelds10656 жыл бұрын
Nope ...not much, but higher watt means higher drilling capacity. I would suggest go for 500 watt unless needed for home use.

Hi Dave, how do we distinguish the drill bits for masonry, wood and metal....? Thanks.
@davelds10656 жыл бұрын
Black Oxide bits are used for metal surfaces, the silver ones are for wooden surface and the rest of the bits are for concrete surface...sorry for the delayed response, I was out travelling and could not find time to reply.

Is it good for tiles
@davelds10656 жыл бұрын
you should be careful, because it depends on the type of tile you are trying to drill, sometime they break very easily.

@davelds10656 жыл бұрын
Those sockets are to use the drill gun as a spanner to tighten bolts and nuts

The one at the back of the head of the hammer is to pull our nails and screws from the wall or wooden surface.

better go for: Bosch 13RE / 550RE / 600RE / 16RE, rather than this machine as it only supports up till 10mm drill bit. At a minimum you need a 1/2 20UNC drill chuck machine supporting upto 13mm - And with 500w drilling power only very basic things can be achieved no point spending around Rs.4000/- and go for this rather spend a little more and go for Bosch 600RE or Bosch 16RE...
