how do I get rid of the timers so that I can only control the heating via the thermostat? the heating came on last night at 3am randomly and I had to manually to turn the boiler off. When I switched it back on, it had 4 zeros flashing

Hello. I have a remote thermostat/timer in the hallway. I fear I may have moved some settings on the boiler's clock controller during the summer. How can I ensure the remote thermostat/timer is controlling the boiler. Does teh left hand slider switch need to be in 'I', 'Auto' or 'O'?

We went away and turned the boiler to the off position thinking we could just turn it back on when we got home. We've now got the clock flashing 00.00 with a small triangle on the display. The hot water works but can't get the heating to come on. Any help would be appreciated 🙏

Try putting a time in ... follow the video to do that ...if it doesn't work it'll need replacing ...a cheaper option is to fit the mechanical type as per the other video which is cheaper.

Just bought a property with this boiler, the pressure gauge is not working is it possible to get a replacement or are parts discontinued cause of age of this particular model

All the parts are still available for this boiler . If you look after it correctly, it can last for years

3 Gas engineers refused to service it cause of its age and incase they damaged parts. Yes it must be a very good boiler to last so long without any problems. Are you based in Birmingham UK?

Bit of a Strech asking now but I've just moved and this is the current boiler in the flat. How does the hot water work? My old boiler had a switch for either heating or water, so you didn't need to have both going at the same time. This one i see the hot water lights up when a tap is used for example. Is it a case of only when needed? Or is it when the heating is on, it also does the water too? Trying to save money on my bills so im a little cautious!

This is a combi boiler the hot water will work automatically when u turn on the tap and that's when u pay for it ,there is no hot water tank that's heats up on a switch .

Make sure u have set the clock if 3 zeros are flashing first . Slide the left hand slider to( I) and just use the left heating control knob to bring it on and off like a volume knob .

yep, just put it to 1 and then use the heating knob. The heating goes off when you turn in all the way down and on when you turn it up.

Hi great video, quick question, we woke up this morning and the display is now just showing a small triangle with 2 curved lines either side above the triangle in the bottom left hand corner. Nothing else displays no matter what we press, can you advice? Many thanks

Try and push a pen or pencil in the small hole on the front at the bottom for about 5 to 10 seconds . If that doesn't work then unfortunately it needs a new one ...u can use a mechanical clock in its replacement which is much cheaper and will still give u heating ( eBay type Baxi or ferroli mechanical clock)

Hi! Excuse the silly question but why there is 16 options? I understood that there is two set up, one for the AM and one for the PM but then that’s 8 days when there is only 7 days in a week… I’m clearly confused but can’t figure it out. Thanks I’m advance!

It's still a 24hr timer not a 7 day timer . with 8 on times and 8 off times as an option during that day . Some people have it coming on through the day on and off and use all the options. Where most people use only 4 for morning and evening and the rest of the 16 options aren't used

This is a great help! A quick question though, with mine turned on using the left switch my boiler only kicks in if i reset the boiler dial. It also turns off the central heating if I use the hot water tap. Any ideas? Thank you

Hot water always takes priority over the heating ..and then a delay of 2 mins before the heating comes back on that's normal ....if a tap is turned on within that 2mins then it'll be 2 mins from when the tap is shut

@@benbaynton8631 tbh the old ferroli Modena was a good boiler ... Never asked a customer to get it replaced . I eventually change the fan Venturi kit , sensors hot water and heating , recharge expansion vessel replace the prv service the boiler . And you'll expand its life these parts are just from wear and tear

@@theferroliman2067 Its going to get ripped off the wall if it carries on being a pain in the backside. :) its deciding to lockout after a few minutes into its programmed timings now. Reset sometimes rectifies but mostly does not. :(

@@benbaynton8631 u may need to do a little adjustment first on the circuit board before u do that p4 a little adjustment on the potentiometer in the middle slightly to the left it's black and white. Get a small flat and turn the arrow anti clockwise to about 5 0clock . That may stop it

Hi, I have the same boiler and it will sometimes keep the CH running even though the programmer has switched it off... turning the boiler on and off does not solve the issue... i have to turn the boiler off for 5mins before it will return to its standby state. Really frustrating... Any ideas?

Can anyone help? I think I need a gas man at this point I set it to timer Comes on for 20/30 seconds Green light on radiators Then goes off & goes Red light on the timer symbol Few minutes go by & process keeps repeating

@@liamthomas1499 You definitely need a gas engineer to visit . This is a fault if it keeps happening after you reset it ,is due to a faulty part . Like a gas valve , circuit board etc . It's nothing you can do yourself
