Great video. Here is a better macro, that makes it so that you don't need to use a shift modifier: /cast [target=focus,exists,harm] Hammer of Justice; Hammer of Justice This is from my paly, and uses HoJ. Behavior is that if I have a Focus target, it HoJs that target regardless of what I have currently targed (if anything) provided the Focus exists (ie, hasn't died). If there is no focus, then it defaults to normal behavior and HoJs my current target.

@Broerbroer shift+1 and shift+3 switches to another Action bar because that is the standart keybinding for it i think. You have to delete these binds in you keybinds.

Hey Cartoonz hope you read this because I was hoping you could show like an arena situation on which u slow down how you use your stuns. There are times I just cant kill a healer within the time they are stunned. Thx for the vids though always helpful!

Note that if your macro seems to not work with the keybind, try shift mouse clicking it. If it works with the mouse click but not the bind it is because Shift+'your bind' is bound to something through default. Just open the wow keybinds, find it (example Shift+4) and unbind it. Had this problem when I first started using shift mods.

@Ryztad try out all big letters. for example, SCATTER SHOT. but it's better not to write names by hand but to shift click on a spell in a book you eant to use (same as item linking)

Hey Cartoonz really love you videos you actually convinced me to go back to pvp and i got 2k just the other day and im siked. My suggestion for a video would be either using ring of frost on a opener and placing them properly. I would also love to see a video on what addons you use and what addons you can use to improve your gameplay.

i think you've covered it in another video, what's the frames add ons you use? I really want something to track DR on poly, and give all CC durations on friendly and opposing targets. There's also an option under interface etc, where you can just use shift to target your focus target with any normal bound attack. So I just use shift to change to focus target as standard. Its mostly annoying against rogues cos whenever they vanish you have to reset focus on the buggers.

@dark9oni Set focus macro /focus [@arena1] replace 1 with 2/3 for the 2 other arena slots and Target macro /target arena1 do the same as first macro. Hope that helped!

you dont need to continue the tooltip line after #showtooltip, it will auto use to next line with a spell/ item. e.g: #showtooltip /cast ice lance /use mana potion that will show the tool tip for ice lance & not the mana potion (also you can link spells & items to the macro feild the same as you would for chat)

@GThAni Plus there's macros.. for exmample --- > /focus arena1 Do that macro for arena2 and arena3 aswell and bind them. That will be very smooth once you get used to it

a lot of the time I want to switch polys between the two people we are not trying to kill so I just use click commands on gladius. A bit less efficient, but you have more versatility on who you can poly/cs/impact. just my opinion, but i've never been high rated so...

walk with both left and right mouse buttons, which opens your left hand to hit any key combination. Shift J is really easy to hit, actually - Unless you have baby hands, I guess...lol

How do you make your focus target more visible? For example, in 5s or RBG's/BG's, it can be hard to pick out your focus in a large crowd of people. Is there anyway to make them stand out more? It wouldn't allow me to put a target icon on my focus in PvP for some reason. Cool video by the way!

#showtooltip /use [mod, @focus][] polymorph i think that would be shorter and does same thing, and don't be afraid about using the button with other modifiers, cuz binding has higher priority than a macro

hey cartoonz please tell me how do you set your focus target, like im having troubles in arenas when we are switching, for example i switch to my focused target and now the other target is neither targeted nor focused, i have to set the other guy to focus again which can be really confusing sometimes...especially when we are constantly switching...

I have my counterspel on button 1, Deep on 3 and Poly on Q. Poly works but counterspell does not and neither does Deep. It switched to another Action bar :/

You don`t need to use macros, theres an option on game`s configurations to bind a focus mod (ctrl, shift or alt)... I use macros too cuz its more versatile, but just fyi...

Been using this since i started playing, really makes things easier, even for PvE. Since 4.3 tho, I cannot counterspell/deepfreeze my focus target, only sheep and all other spells.. I've checked the macro and its correct. Anyone else got this problem?
