I have a Striker Plus 4… when I lower the downrigger ball it continuously show’s multiple fish… I’ve tried to resolve it by lowering the gain but didn’t help… also, how far back do you run the flasher/dodger from the weight in 20 feet of water when trolling for Kokanee?

Do you have the fish symbol setting turned on. If so, I would turn that off. I prefer to see only signature returns on the fish finder so I can interpret the readings myself. For kokanee fishing at 20ft, the setback varies between 75 ft and 125 ft on average. I'd start with a 75 ft setback and work back from there if not getting a bite.

Love my Garmin Stryker 4! Except when I close my eyes at night after a day fishing, all I can see are fish marks 😂

They are amazing aren't they?

I also have the striker 4 vivid. Do you have a video of how to locate the thermocline in the water column?
@FougereFamilyAdventures3 ай бұрын
Not yet. I haven't noticed or played with the settings on the Garmin Striker 4 to try and find the thermocline because normally I can mark fish and I target those at depth.

great video! do you have a video of how you have you garmin mounted on that box?
@FougereFamilyAdventures4 ай бұрын
I'm glad you liked it. This is my fish finder tackle box video. I love this way of mounting the Gsrmin, because it keeps it waterproof for ice fishing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZitpaaEl5Vrqqssi=hc0HDYlkH2o0Jila
