How to use a Hitchlugger

Here is a walkthrough guide to using a Hitchlugger. I purchased one of these recently for when I take my bike on holiday in the back of the van. I first saw it when I used Speedferries from Dover last year. Absolutely brilliant! These new ones are so much easier to use than the one on Speedferries. Safe and secure motorcycle transporter frame.

OK, so it holds the bike upright, BUT what do you strap the whole thing to once you get it in the back of your van? It will be a 500lb moving object if you get into a crash if you dont tie it down. And how do you get it in van? Impractical!

There's no brackets, or nothing else that's shown to mount it to anything descriptive or anywhere useful.

the bike chok is to secure the bike in an upright position in a trailer. You then need to secure the bike to the trailer. All choks are meant to keep the bike in place....you still have to ancher the bike to the trailer.

I've transported bikes in vans and pick-up trucks for decades with no issues ever... never needed one of these.. it's just another thing to store when not in use

Good video, extra points for NOT using music, uselessly focusing on narrators face, or showing any of the usual Youtard bullshit! Loading is a matter of the vehicle and available equipment, but winching it onto a ramp then into or onto your vehicle is obvious. (If you attach a D-ring inline with where you want it to go you can hang a small snatch block off the ring then winch (manual comealongs would be fine, I've loaded trucks onto trailers that way in a pinch) from where ever is convenient.
