Looks like a useful tool for the garden. Is the looseness of the head meant to help with the angle of the blade or just a bad design?

For some reason I’m finding it difficult to get the weeds up pushing or pulling and I actually pulled muscles around my ribs trying to get weeds up with the hula hoe. I may not using it correctly and or do I possibly need to make some kind of adjustment to the hoe? Thank you for your answer.

Hi there! 👋 👋 We hope you are feeling a little better. A hula hoe can be a tough tool to use. It can definitely depend on how wet or dry the soil is. More moisture makes it easier to weed. Also, it's good for more shallower-rooted weeds. Deeper rooted weeds need more trowel or shovel working. Feel better and we appreciate you watching our video. 👍😊

How bout doing it on compacted soil, not a easy soft dirt. Please show how to avoid back pain. I have compacted pathways, and need to know proper posture.
