Hello. I have a big patch of English ivy that I have been trying to remove. I can't use any chemicals. Do you have a preference as to which hoe or other garden tool would work the best in this situation? Thank you.

So I’ve had the unenviable task of removing English ivy. Honestly the first pass I would just pull the vines with gloved hands. Then after that I’d go at roots with the pointed hoe. Once you have gotten as much as you can lay down cardboard and a thick layer of mulch. Or black plastic to solarize it. Finally anything that pops up just pull out. It can take awhile to get it all gone but it is possible!
