Oh my goodness! The diagrams in the user manual meant nothing to me but now, after quite a few years of owning my Janome machine, I can use the automatic needle threader. Thank you :-)

Thank you for such a clear view of the actual threader, including it's critical part, the hook. Now I know for sure that the hook on the end of the needle threader on my Janome machine is broken off. Gotta buy a replacement.

Ah maybe u now how to solve my other problem too 😊. I have a janome HD 2200. And i dont know how to move the needle position to the right for putting blond zipper in. Im now on youtube trying to find a video. Then i saw urs with also im very happy about. 😅.. greetings from the netherlands. ❤

My needle hook on the threader is jussst to the right of the needle, so it doesnt engage. I can’t find a way to adjust it. I put a new threader mechanism on the machine and still no luck. Can you help?

I have trouble seeing close up but the hook font seem to be going through the eye of the needle

Did you ever get an answer to this problem? I'm having the same problem. The little hook comes just to the right of the needle as the needle is slightly crooked or something. But if that were the,it wouldn't fit down into the bobbin to catch the thread there, would it?

Great video, but this doesn't work on the Janome HD3000. First of all, the 'hook', is too small to see.
