Why when I cut med frozen beef it cuts un even it starts thick and it ends up super this? Is it the machine?
@Foodtwist Жыл бұрын
Im not sure but experienced this with the last cuts and probably first cuts. I never cut frozen but I plan on doing it partially frozen for better cuts as someone suggested. I don’t think it will cut perfect slices. The one I suggested is cheap and the one I have is cheap and it’s not worth getting your fingers to close to guide that last part through. I think you’ll also experience this more with thinner cuts. Thanks for commenting 😊🙏🏾

Hey, I actually just got a slicer that looks EXACTLY like that. But the instructions are incredibly vague and not helpful at all. What are the general handling and maintenance of this machine?
@Foodtwist2 ай бұрын
@@nikolas-1145 thanks for writing. The most important thing is not to submerge it in water. As far as operating it you have to be careful of the surface as any sliding around may cost you some fingers. Using meat that is partially frozen is something I learned from my viewers as flimsy meat is hard to get a great cut even with a cutter. Cleaning is just removing the cutting wheel and using dish soap and either spray it clean or use a cup or pan of hot water you can pour because it doesn’t fit under most faucets to wash. I hope that helps a little

@@Foodtwist what speed does yours usually spin at? Mine seems slow, but I’ve also never used a deli slicer before and I can’t be sure if this is normal speed or not

Hey Brian! I was going for value to cut 10 slices. Imagine that a ribeye could get 10 slices and that at the time was $34. Those days are gone. I could cut them twice as thick and probably bigger. Thanks for watching and commenting.
