Excellent job of explaining the control for the lowering speed. It makes all of the difference when you have it set correctly.

Great tips on how to use the auger. I pictured the auger screwing itself into the ground lifting the tractor up. But you make it look so easy and I'm sure it is with your advice. Thanks for another great video.

Looks great Tony. Over the years, I've used post hole diggers on tractors, used two man gas engine hand held diggers, and I have dug a whole LOT of them by hand. Yep....using internal combustion is my choice !

Hi Tony thanks for the good info, I am in the process of buying a post hole digger (Australia). I have a Massey Ferguson GC 1725 25hp sub compact. I have a local dealer who has square tube steel 50 hp gearbox, heavy duty diggers rated for 25- 75 hp tractors which i can pick up today or should i stick with a medium duty like the one in this video. Thanks in advance Shane

should talk about not letting the digger got too far down before bringing it back due to too much weight for the tractor to bring it up! Testing what it can do by trying little bit at a time

@@TonysTractorAdventure Lol.. I found it. It’s the one they sell at Rural King. Your video was super helpful because all the reviews for this one and the one that tractor supply sells (County Line), they say they won’t work with a LS MT125. Thanks to you.. we know they’re full of it.

That looks like a 36” bit? I’ve been watching and reading alot prepping for first auger. I have a Yanmar 424 and it seems like a smaller implement and 36” bit is helpful on sub compact and smaller compact tractors.

Post hole diggers and rock don't get along. It will pull out small rocks 6 or 8 inches, but true rock will kill it.
