In this free concealed carry video Tim Schmidt aka "Tactical Tim" will show you how to properly use a shirt holster. He will also give you some pros and cons of the shirt holster and different situations where you may find yourself wanting to conceal carry with the shirt holster. The shirt holster offers maximum ability to conceal your firearm. It is also a very comfortable holster situation which allows it to be worn in many situations. I use a 5.11 compression/holster under shirt. It has Velcro closure for securing the weapon. Easy one hand draw and re-secure. T-shirt style and sleeveless style. I love this option for warm weather conceal carry.

When I wear mine use a western style shirt that has snaps (pearl) not buttons. You'd be surprised how fast I can draw my weapon. Which is a great benefit....right!? Also makes replacing the weapon much quicker....give it try.

I bought a Cabelas store brand and am liking it. I purposely bought an XL rather than my usual 2XL because I wanted to be sure it kept the gun close. Mission accomplished.

+Don Schultz Did the smaller size make a difference? Was it still comfortable?

+USCCA Yes it is comfortable though I am aware I have it on. Also the pocket is a bit tight on my S&W 908 which measures 5.5" high X just under 7" long. I have to place it carefully to get a clean draw.

Why not get a holster strap where the gun faces to the back of you and away?, those have been out for decades

Because it's constricting and doesn't have any give like Underarmor, you can't expand your rib cage as easily. Has nothing to do with going to the gym. One solution might be going a size bigger.
