I’ve been using the SmartCarry for years. For me, with my short stature, it’s a good compromise. I generally carry a Sig P938 in it and have recently tried it with my P365. The Philster works ok for deep concealment but it’s a bit bulky.

I use this holster every day. I have tried multiple different styles. Wearing a shirt over a shirt is not business casual. Wearing a jacket seems like a place a lot in business casual. In the vehicle I have a separate weapon that I can get to. When I sit down I basically take the material and pull it slightly over the top of the barrel. It keeps it from poking straight up in the air like an erection lol. I’m allowed to wear blue jeans a lot but I still need to wear a polo shirt tucked in. So 90% of my day is with polo shirt. I really like the smart carry in gym shorts. I can’t exercise with it all. I have a knife in my pocket That I keep for that. Everything‘s a compromise. You were correct in saying that. Printing is not the right way to go especially in business casual clothes. Do you want to freak people out who are customers let him think you have a pistol. The differences I do not tuck my shirt and all the way around just on the sides in the front. I have had a situation more than once where the back rode up without me knowing it and became visible above my belt. Not much but enough for me to just make this minor adjustment for myself. But everybody’s body types are different so everybody has to learn what works. Great video great video

i notice there are various sizes on the website. if you have a smaller gun like an lcp you can potentially get rid of the printing problem while sitting down by simply having a smaller gun and smaller holster.

This had always been my most effective way to deep carry. A few issues for me, the ejection port often snags the top of the smart carry when you draw, also if you gotta pee and you cant go in a reasonable amounts of time (an issue in my world) the gun is sitting in the absolute most uncomfortable place for that situation. Those 2 issues aside i prefer these over the phlster enigma.

What's protecting the trigger if you are carrying with one in the tube?

The trigger is covered. It is cloth, but it is very thick and there is zero chance that the trigger could be pulled though it.

I have been using Smart Carry for years and the one issue I’ve had to contend with is that the strap around my back starts to ride up out o my pants. I have dealt with this, up until now, by untucking the back of my shirt from the Smart Carry strap, then tucking the shirt over the strap, but into the pants. Have you experienced this problem? If so, how did you address it? Thank for a very well thought out and nicely filmed video.

I used to tuck my shirt over the back of it but that created a weird bunching of the shirt at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Now, I just have the band over the shirt all the way around. It can ride up and show above the pants. I minimize that by wearing it as low as possible when I first get dressed in the morning and check it several times a day. It has only been spotted once and the guy who saw it though I had back problems and I just said it was a back support belt.

Great video Steve. I have one question though. If nature calls, and a guys goes to a urinal, how does this holster system work? From what it looks like to me, this holster might be a little difficult to conceal at a urinal. And even if there are stalls around the urinal, a guy would still have to pull the holster around to get it out of the way. Totally covered by 2 layers of heavy denim and nylon moisture liner. I haven’t attempted to pull past that but I can’t imagine it is possible

So, my guess is if you don't want anyone to see that you carry, I guess don't use the urinals at work.

Using the urinal is far easier than you'd think, although it does require both hands. One hand holds the pants up while the other ... aims. That hand is under the muzzle so it lifts up out of the way. I know that sounds complicated but it works well and I haven't been spotted at a urinal in many years of wearing this.

@@SimmeringPotpourri Yup... You're also taking advantage of bathroom etiquette. Most urinals have dividers but even ones that don't, staring down there is not done. It is so discrete that a quick glance will not reveal what it is even at the urinal.
