It's great for macros. You can make your own button icons dead easy, in the link on the software. I love it. It controls loads of stuff I can't remember the key combinations for half of the time. 😂 You can set up 3 pages. I have 2 for tracking and 1 for mixing. My favourite commands are zoom to selection and undo zoom. Just makes things fast fast fast.

If you could take that into another room to record vocals where you set up in our record points on the pc snd used this to. Play. Loop on of. Record. .back to punch in marker and delete bad audio takes then record new takes. That could be useful given it doesn'thave a screen ti show you really have deleted bad takes. .

Thanks a lot for this walkthough. However, unfortunately I was tired and made a mistake with Generic MIDI in & outs so received reports of MIDI configuration not OK so I tried to delete all and start again but although I was able to delete the Generic Remote, I can't seem to delete the MIDI port setup entries. Should I press the reset button in that window or will I lose all my other MIDI settings please?
@LanewoodStudios7 ай бұрын
Not sure I’m afraid and nowhere near Cubase either. As I remember it, it wasn’t that much work to set it up from scratch anyway if you just use their pre-assigned mapping.
@kdcyp7 ай бұрын
@@LanewoodStudios Thanks. I actually managed to remove the MIDI ports by deleting them in the loop app so I will start again from scratch and get it right this time. Ironically, I realised that I problem won’t really need the MIDI setup as I have a CC121 controller for transport functions but maybe there’s something that I need that can’t be done with only hot keys function 🤔

I didn't decide between Elgato Stream Deck with Audio Mixer included(4 roraty knobs), just streamer desk or Megalodon Triple Knob Macro Pad. I'm thinking to buy the nob Controller too to make a Combo. Which one you will choose base in your experience?
@LanewoodStudios8 ай бұрын
I have no experience with those other devices so cannot really advise you which one is best. I did briefly look at the StreamDeck with those turning knobs at the time but it had fewer push buttons so I went for the classic one.
